The Athletic reporter Shams Charania reported that Fred VanVleet and the Raptors completed a four-year, $85 million extension, with the fourth year being a player option.
VanVleet is a loser, and the 85 million contract is also the largest contract signed by a missing player. Previously, Wesley Matthews signed a four-year, $70.1 million deal with the Lone Ranger in 2015.
Last season, VanVleet averaged 17.6 points, 6.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
