Reading notes | points and lines

After finishing my homework, I looked up and looked around. Suddenly, I discovered that everything in this world, without exception, is made up of points and lines. For a moment, I could capture the apex of things—the edge of the building, and I saw thousands of dots densely packed, thousands of threads intertwined. They are so neat and harmonious.

Points and lines, the most basic geometric models, are pleasing to the eye. It is the simple dots and lines that are ever-changing and endless, deriving this complex, huge, and chaotic world.

It seems that the world is like this, and the random combination of points and lines is also objective, but there will always be people who are dissatisfied and complain about all these things, and complain about things that have long been arranged. Indeed, no matter how complex things are, they have the most basic structural framework, and this world woven of points and threads is no exception. That main line, carrying a dense thousand other lines, is the well-known law of survival - natural selection, survival of the fittest. No matter how special your point is, small or huge, simple or colorful, as long as you are in the plane of the world, we can't escape. The invisible line has already bound us closely to this main line.

Even so, we should still be grateful for this beautiful world. The combination of points and lines is uncontrollable. What an accident that formed such a wonderful planet, and if it weren't for this accident, maybe we wouldn't exist in this world.

Does a long straight line span the entire plane, but may not be connected to any point, does it make sense? A straight line, I think, exists for that point.

Light from one end of the universe, spent hundreds of billions of years, can not find the end, in these hundreds of billions of years of time, through the earth, embracing human beings time is only a moment. In the vast universe, in the long time, in the days when life has not been met, will the light be lonely? Does light also make sense? That ray of light also exists for human beings struggling in the darkness.

The encounter between a line and a point is only a moment, should we not cherish it?

The meaning of a line is to a point, and should we not wait?

A line without points can be lonely, shouldn't we expect it?

I realized that a long or short life is like a straight line that extends forward, and we take a fixed route, never the same way forward. There is a large uncatchable plane full of thousands of points, and the hurried passers-by in our lives are some points on the plane. Fixed points on a fixed trajectory have long been arranged, and for a straight line, this is a fate that cannot be changed, even if it is not wanted, it should be accepted.

We know our direction, but we don't know the unknown point that is still ahead, so it is better to expect, to wait, not to lose the meaning of a line. Loneliness is one of the most painful things in the world, no one expects to be lonely, no one wants to be forgotten. The mission of light is to benefit mankind and let mankind remember it forever. And the meaning of the line should be remembered by the point.

Therefore, perhaps the value of life is also reflected in points and lines, embodied in inadvertent things.

So, how wonderful is the logic of points and lines.
