In June, watermelon ripening season, melon farmers in Qijiahe Township, Xia County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, are busy picking, packing and shipping.
Qijiahe Township is located in the hinterland of Zhongtiao Mountain, and the land is scattered and scattered. In the past, villagers planted wheat and corn in the mountains to make ends meet. In recent years, in accordance with the idea of "solving problems on the mountain and solving the problems on the mountain", the local government has relocated the poor people in Qijiahe Township to areas with relatively good living conditions and development space, guided villagers to engage in greenhouse watermelon planting, and provided technical support in seedlings, planting, management and other links.
