The recently released Persian Lesson is based on a short story written by German screenwriter Wolfgang Kolheis based on real events. Jew Gilles, in order to save his life, created a language that did not exist. When we think of classic films with anti-Nazi themes, we think of "Schindler's List", "Beautiful Life", "Pianist", "Reader", "Boy in Striped Pajamas"... These films use different narrative perspectives to reflect a dark history full of suffering and trauma.
