Dong Jianjun, born in October 1971, is a member of the Communist Party of China and a native of Yuyangyuan, Qukou Town, Xianghe County. He graduated from Langfang Health School in 1994. He is currently the director of the Xianghe County Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the secretary of the party branch.

From August 1994 to July 1996, he worked at the Wangban Health Center of Xianghe County, from July 1996 to June 1998, he was the president of the Shihu Health Center of Xianghe County, from June 1998 to November 2007, he was the director of the Qukou Health Center of Xianghe County, from November 2007 to October 2008, he was the director of the Health and Epidemic Prevention Station of Xianghe County, and from October 2008 to February 2017, he was the director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Xianghe County (deputy section level), and the director of the Xianghe County Health Supervision Institute After the separation of the disease control supervision function in February 2017, he served as the director of the Xianghe County Center for Disease Control and Prevention (deputy section level).

Just when Wuhan began to discover the epidemic situation and continue to spread, Comrade Dong Jianjun decided to attack in advance, quickly led the relevant personnel to formulate an emergency plan for epidemic prevention and control, set up an epidemic prevention and control work team, and set up seven groups under it, including the elimination group, the circulation group, the inspection team, the epidemic data group, the logistics support group, and the publicity group, which were specifically responsible for the epidemic prevention and control related work, and he resolutely purchased emergency protective materials to provide protection for the elimination and protection of the epidemic prevention and control work of the county's health system. It is also recommended that all medical and health units strengthen the construction of material reserves, pre-examination triage and fever diagnosis, laying a foundation for the rapid and orderly development of the epidemic prevention and control work in the county's health system.
