Jennifer Morrison recently announced that she had turned down invitations from producers at ABC and Once Upon a Time, leaving the cast after her current contract ended.
In an interview with Deadline, Jennifer explained why she left the crew for 6 seasons: "I worked for 6 years on House, one year on "The Romance of Mom and Dad", and 6 years on Fairytale Town, and these 13 years of TV series work were wonderful and incredible gifts, but also exhausting. I wanted to switch to more directing, and I turned down many opportunities over the years to focus on my acting career. Now I'm old enough to want to go back to my family, want a more self-contained life, and want to do creative work. “
