Luo Rui, who participated in the World Championships for the first time, scored a high score of 14.566 points in the balance beam competition the previous day, and after two days of competition, she was at the top of the 94 participants. The other two Chinese players, Wei Xiaoyuan and Li Shijia, finished 22nd and 23rd respectively and missed the final.

According to the rules, the top eight in each individual event in the qualifiers advance to the final, and the top 24 in the individual all-around competition qualify for the final, although up to two players from each team will qualify.

In the high and low bar competition, Brazil's famous player and Tokyo Olympic women's vault champion Andrade played well on the day, scoring a high score of 15.100, surpassing Wei Xiaoyuan, who had been leading the previous day. Wei Xiaoyuan finished second with 14.733 points, and Luo Rui finished third with 14.500 points, both advancing to the final.

At the Tokyo Olympics, the Chinese team won the first and second places in the balance beam competition, and the uneven bars event also won a fourth place. According to Ye Zhennan, the leader of the Chinese gymnastics team, if they play their training level, the two young players Luo Rui and Wei Xiaoyuan are expected to impact the championship in the final.

Luo Rui, who is less than 16 years old, is a member of the Guangdong team, the women's team champion of the Shaanxi National Games, and is also a bronze medalist in the individual all-around, while Wei Xiaoyuan, 17, is the women's individual all-around champion of the National Games.

The first place in the women's all-around preliminaries was Melnikova, who won two bronze medals in the individual all-around and free gymnastics at the Tokyo Olympics in addition to the team gold medal. She played well in four individual events, second in both balance beam and free gymnastics, fourth in both high and low bars and vaulting, and finished first in the preliminaries with an overall score of 57.065 points.

Of the four Chinese players who participated in the World Championships, only Wei Xiaoyuan participated in the all-around competition, and she finally advanced as the seventh place.

In the vaulting competition, Andrade won the first place in the preliminary round, and China's Qi Qi ranked 18th. In the free gymnastics competition, Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist and Japan's Jasmine Murakami advanced to the final as the first place, while Qi Qi and Wei Xiaoyuan ranked 18th and 34th respectively.
