On June 12, 2021, the Gold Medal Offer Training Camp ushered in the last week of offline courses, and the trainees and this week's mentors still met on time on the 75th floor of the Shanghai Tower. A month is fleeting, and with the completion of the four-week course, the first phase of the gold medal offer camp has also come to a successful end.
Looking back on the first week, everyone saw each other for the first time, whether it was the organizers, students, and public welfare tutors, they were full of expectations for the gold medal offer training camp.
We have students from Fudan University, East China University of Political Science and Law, China University of Political Science and Law, University College London, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, etc., as well as outstanding senior lawyers, partners and directors from Shenhao, King & Wood Mallesons, Zhong Lun, JunHe, Guohao, Commerce & Finance, AllBright, Dentons, Jianwei, Docott, Junyue, Haihua Yongtai, Deheng, Jing Yulin and other law firms, as well as expert tutors from Xuhui Notary Office, Law New Agency, Hangzhou Quchain Technology.
The Gold Medal Offer Bootcamp constructs the curriculum from the perspective of the whole process of career development of law students, and designs the course content around the core pain points. Over the past four weeks, the public welfare instructors from different fields of the legal profession have carefully prepared, led the trainees to understand the industry prospects, understand the business areas, and explained the practice of IPO, capital markets, bankruptcy and restructuring, corporate compliance, fiscal and tax compliance, real estate, construction, intellectual property rights, labor dispute litigation and criminal litigation.
In the course, the instructors not only introduced the business situation in different business areas, but also put forward the expectations for young legal personnel in their respective fields, which pointed out the direction for the trainees in the process of self-improvement.
At the same time, the gold medal offer training camp also invited mentors from the notary industry, the legal technology industry, and the legal new media industry to give guidance to young legal people in new career development opportunities, helping students to further understand the entire industry and better find their own career direction.
In addition, the last class was taught by Wang Fengmei, the founder of The Law New Society, during which Mr. Wang put forward the concept that young legal people should "build their personal brands". As a leader in new media in the legal service industry, Mr. Wang combined his rich professional experience over the years to reveal the branding of the lawyer industry for the trainees, and explained the importance of personal branding.
Taking the changes in the needs of clients and the changes in law firms in the past and present as the starting point, Mr. Wang shared with you the opportunities and competition in the legal service market, and analyzed the future development path of the legal industry from the aspects of market and policy. Focus on the comprehensive development of specialization, high-end, digitalization and other aspects, and discuss the future trend of the legal service industry.
Of course, as the instructors mentioned in the course, no matter how the trainees plan their careers in the future, the most important task during the current school period is to polish their basic legal skills and strengthen their hard strength, which is the key to improving the success rate of job hunting.
In addition to the business direction course, the Gold Medal Offer Training Camp also arranges practical skills courses for the trainees, such as resume optimization guidance, customer communication methods and skills, legal research and retrieval, litigation document writing, etc., to provide suggestions for the handling of various problems encountered by the trainees in the job search and enrich the skills of the trainees.

Looking back at the beginning, in February 2021, the School of Ping Law germinated an idea - can we design a product that really pragmatically solves the problem of job search for and employment of law students? The "Gold Medal Offer Bootcamp" program was launched. From market research to product research, from tutor invitation to course polishing, meeting and discussion again and again, staying up late and working overtime again and again, after several months of intense preparation, the gold medal offer training camp was finally presented in front of everyone.
Carrying the expectations of the tutors and students, the gold medal offer training camp from the opening to the end of the camp, the organizer does not forget the original intention, is committed to building a communication bridge for the tutors and students, solve the difficulties of job hunting for the students, fortunately, live up to expectations, successfully conclude the camp, and receive high praise from all parties.
