Zhang Tianai: DaChunzi is a heroic family member, and she is also pregnant. She also completed the task of giving birth to a child while experiencing the difficulties of the retreat, so she is also a representative of hope in the film, because she gave birth to a new life.
Yangcheng Evening News: Your styling breakthrough this time is very large, is the skin, lips and even teeth all "put on makeup"?
Zhang Tianai: Yes, the pre-makeup has been set many times, including the shape of the skin, teeth and even eyebrows. On the one hand, the director is very demanding, on the other hand, I initially saw the makeup and thought it was not enough. I hope to be able to completely break my own facial features, such as the eyebrow shape that belongs to Zhang Tianai's heroic eyebrows at first glance. It was a difficult process, but it was done, and it was a very happy thing for me. As an actor, isn't it to break through yourself and shape the character? I have such desires. At that time, everyone around me said "enough", and I was saying "be a little harder". Because I look at myself in the mirror every day, I know that this is still not myself.
Yangcheng Evening News: You have never experienced the state of a pregnant woman, have you ever learned from the people around you?
Zhang Tianai: The most difficult thing about playing this character is that I have not conceived a child in my life. And I played Haruko who went through so much hardship in the process of about to give birth, and her physical endurance had reached a limit. I interviewed people around me, including doctor friends in obstetrics and gynecology, to figure out what the reaction was during pregnancy. I've always felt that when an actor plays a role, he should play the process, rather than directly giving a result. So I want to use my body as much as possible to convince myself and the audience.
Yangcheng Evening News: Judging from your performance in the movie, you get along very naturally with your "belly".
Zhang Tianai: After entering the group, I began to wear a big belly every day, almost 24 hours a day. As a result, on the first day, when I closed the door, I clipped my stomach. At that time, I was still reporting to everyone in the cast group: Hahaha, I clipped the child! Later, I made a trip back to Beijing from Zhangjiakou, also wearing a belly along the way, and after getting off the bus, I frightened the staff. Some of them only saw me once in a long time, and they didn't know what I was doing, so they were frightened. As soon as I saw how much everyone reacted, I felt like I had succeeded!
After wearing my stomach for two or three weeks, I am already very comfortable in life. One night I asked the director to dinner, and I quickly dismantled my stomach before going, afraid of being photographed. The crew also has a confidentiality agreement, and every day at the end of the work is told: don't be photographed! It's really stressful. So, really wait until the day I get pregnant, I will certainly not hide, I must be open. Secretly "getting pregnant" is really too tiring!
Yangcheng Evening News: I can see that your determination to break through yourself is very great, and you are looking forward to the audience's recognition of this role, right?
Zhang Tianai: In the end, what kind of Zhang Tianai can be changed, whether the audience really recognizes Dachunzi, it also depends on how my performance is. But for me, since I have the heart to change, let's try to do it. There may be no way to succeed at once, but with such hope and direction step by step, I believe that it will always get better and better.

Wu Jing's mind is particularly careful, and the directing drama is also very powerful
Yangcheng Evening News: The "Riding the Wind" unit of "My Father and I" is Wu Jing as the director, the two of you are working together for the first time, what kind of director is he in your heart?
Zhang Tianai: After knowing Brother Jing, I found out that he was a man with no details, and he saw all the details in his eyes, including how many buttons should be tied in our costumes. He was so worried, I think he was uneasy about watching from the monitor. [Laughs]
Yangcheng Evening News: This is a great contrast with the Wu Jing you used to know, right?
Zhang Tianai: I have the impression that Brother Jing is a martial arts star, but I didn't expect that he was also very good at directing literary dramas. Also, he's very real, the kind of guy who looks exactly the same in front of and behind the camera. I couldn't necessarily do that myself, and he made me particularly convinced.
Yangcheng Evening News: The father-son combination of Wu Jing and Wu Lei is also a big point of view this time. From what you observe on set, how much do they look like father and son?
Zhang Tianai: I can feel the sense of faith brought by the plot on the spot. I think the two of them not only have father-son love, but also have comradeship and brotherhood.
Yangcheng Evening News: Tell me about the scene that you were most impressed by when you starred in "Riding the Wind" this time?
Zhang Tianai: That must have been the scene where Brother Jing taught me to have children. I was lying on the set, the camera was facing me, and he, as an off-site guide, stood in the position where the obstetrician should stand, and kept shouting: Hard! Again! Control the rhythm of my "having children". The actors on both sides who played the midwife were frightened by him. Anyway, he said he had experience with having children.
Yangcheng Evening News: Was there a sense of embarrassment at that time?
Zhang Tianai: I can't take care of it. I was really in a hurry and felt as if I was really going to give birth! That momentum made the blood vessels almost explode. "Having a baby" is really tiring!
Yangcheng Evening News: How would you recommend the movie "My Father and Me" to the audience?
Zhang Tianai: I think everyone can go and see, from the film and television works such as "My Motherland and Me", "My Hometown and Me", and "My Father and Me", understand the strength of the motherland, understand the charm of the hometown, and understand these ordinary and great people around us.

Yangcheng Evening News: Over the years, you have starred in many movies and dramas with the main theme, such as "The Great Undertaking of Building the Army", "Captain China", "Chinese Doctor", "Together", and "My Father and I". The competition for roles in this type of work is quite fierce, what qualities do you think are recognized by the director?
Zhang Tianai: I think I'm very lucky because I'm lucky. Every time I receive such a "task", there will be a sense of pride and pride that arises spontaneously. I would call it a "task," not to mean forced execution, but to have a solemn sense of mission. In fact, my elderly family also participated in the War of Resistance, and I was able to participate in such a theme, but also in dialogue with my ancestors.
Yangcheng Evening News: "Captain China" is a breakthrough in the shooting method of the main theme work, and the film later earned more than 2.9 billion yuan at the box office. This was also your first time shooting a main theme film, what was the opportunity at that time?
Zhang Tianai: I almost missed that play! I happened to be working in Belgium, and it was almost the end of the year, so I told the team that I would like to invite everyone to travel to Iceland together! After signing up for the group, paying money, making a car appointment, and even doing a good job, I suddenly received an invitation call from "Captain China". There were only five scenes told me at the time, and I didn't know why, I felt like I had to go. I said to the team, you go play, I'll go back first, I want to participate. "Captain China" is a particularly good start, with "Captain China", there will be opportunities to star in "Chinese Doctor", "Peace Ark" and "Together".
Yangcheng Evening News: "Chinese Doctor" is also a group portrait work with the main theme. Many people are impressed by one of your scenes: after the patients in the square cabin are cured and left, the nurse you played collapsed completely and relaxed on the empty bed.
Zhang Tianai: Being in that environment, wearing that kind of clothes, that was how I felt at that moment. In fact, many times actors enter the role not by acting, but by feeling. When I was a child, when I didn't know much about acting, I always liked to dance with my teeth and claws. But now I understand that as long as you believe in yourself, even if you have no expression, the audience can receive your state of mind. So just be a real person, a person who doesn't lie.
Yangcheng Evening News: How do you understand the matter of playing a "small role" in a "big drama"?
Zhang Tianai: There will be a variety of characters in a play. I think the "little character" is like a screw, it looks inconspicuous, but if you don't tighten it when building a house, the house may collapse. This kind of "small role", I have the opportunity to play more!

Yangcheng Evening News: The TV series "Peace Ark" based on the theme of the Navy's medical ship has not yet been broadcast, and many viewers are looking forward to it. In it, you play the female military doctor Lu Yang, will this role reflect your heroism more?
Zhang Tianai: "Peace Ark" is a more challenging play. I've been playing a nurse in the past, but this time it's a role as a deputy chief physician, and there's a difference in the role's knowledge base. I called Sister Yuan Quan at the beginning, and I said, "Sister, I've 'changed jobs'" and asked her how to grasp the scale. In fact, when I figured out the role, I repeatedly watched the purser she played in "Captain China". I think there's one thing about her that's particularly worth learning from me— she can give people a sense of trust, and in "Captain China" she has "controlled the field". I play a doctor, when I encounter patient anxiety, I must also have a sense of faith and let the other party let go of worries.
Yangcheng Evening News: In terms of reflecting the professionalism of medical staff, you should be more and more experienced, right?
Zhang Tianai: In the field of medicine, we are accompanied by very professional doctors on the spot. We are learning from them every day, including watching and learning from surgery. I don't faint blood now, I wasn't afraid of anything I used to be afraid of, and the bugs dare to catch them. I feel like a "soldier egg" and have been trained. [Laughs]
Yangcheng Evening News: How did you feel about working with Chen Kun in Peace Ark?
Zhang Tianai: He is my idol, starting from "Moon Half Bend" (Note: Chen Kun's single released in 2004), I like him super much. This time I knew to cooperate with him, and I was very excited, but I regretted that I did not play a couple. [Laughs]
Kun Ge is a very energetic person, you can see that he is very good at expressing himself and feeling life. When you talk to him, you will let go of the impetuous breath in your heart and feel that you have become more relaxed.

Yangcheng Evening News: Tell us about the work you are filming, "Amai Conscription"? Some viewers who began to like you from "The Promotion of the Princess Princess" should also be looking forward to seeing your costume works again.
Zhang Tianai: This drama company has been preparing for three or four years, and a good meal is not afraid of being late, and I feel that I have reached a very good stage to shoot it. It's a very positive theme: a very independent, very brave girl who wants to complete her own mission.
Yangcheng Evening News: What is the biggest difficulty for you in the role of Amai?
Zhang Tianai: Ah Mai began to live independently at the age of ten, and in order to protect herself, she dressed herself up as a boy. This led to her behaving very manly when she grew up. My difficulty is that I am actually playing a boy, but I don't want the audience to realize this, and the sense of proportion is particularly difficult to grasp.
Yangcheng Evening News: "Amai Conscription" and "Peace Ark", the two new works you lead, one ancient and one modern, the roles are "removing red makeup and putting on battle robes", is this also a side of your personality?
Zhang Tianai: Indeed, I have been very independent since I was a child. A while ago there was another play, I didn't go, pushed it off, because it was about family life. For me, my family life is simply a blank, usually when acting involves family, I always feel that I can't act well. My parents opened a restaurant, that kind of local restaurant. Everyone has a living room and a bedroom in their homes, and when I enter the house, I have to take off my shoes, I don't have this concept, because I grew up sleeping in the room where guests eat, watching TV in the hotel lobby, and when guests are eating, I write homework at the table next to me... If you put me in a restaurant now, whether it's the front desk or the kitchen, I can do it immediately, without training for a day!
Yangcheng Evening News: I heard that your fans are very demanding of you?
Zhang Tianai: Yes, my fans are very demanding of me. Some fans even write their own scripts and throw them at me when they're done: Give, write for you. I am a fan of careers, and I don't want to marry me much. [Laughs]
Yangcheng Evening News: In the past two years, you have worked hard, do you have a rest or charging plan?
Zhang Tianai: I want to take the team back to my hometown once and let them see where I live. I think it's good to know each other better, including that I've been arranging more opportunities for them to visit the site recently, so that they can understand what I'm doing on a regular basis.
After filming "Amai Conscription" this time, I will also take some time to return to life. Keep curious about life, learn more skills, and maybe one day you will use it in the play. When I was filming "My Father and Me", there were actually not so many scenes, but I was in the crew the whole time. Jing Ge provided horses for everyone, I practiced six to eight hours a day, although I was very tired, but I was very happy. This is how I feel about life outside of work. Then when I came to the crew of "Amai Conscription", I found that I was more skilled in horseback riding than many boys, and I felt that I was particularly good. [Laughs]

Zhang Tianai: Continue to find a handsome character like Ah Mai! I think that as my experience grows, I will definitely be more powerful than the other. How can such a scene be enough?!
