The soul of the band is undoubtedly the keyboardist Tuomas, who is also the captain of the Band Wish of the Night. He is not only a keyboardist, but also a music producer who combines composition, lyrics and composition.
When the band changed 3 lead singers and many people attacked Tuomas Jiang Lang for his talent, he led the band all the way to the present, which can be said to be a great achievement.
The band's 3 lead singers, the first Tarja Turunen, known as Sister T, was in the band from 1996-2005. Sister T was born in classical opera, using classical opera singing, and her singing voice is very amazing.
The magnificent arrangement of Night Wish and the special singing voice of Sister T have made Night Wish reach a brilliant era in one fell swoop. Unfortunately, for some reason, Sister T eventually left the band.
Sister T's departure made many fans sigh, especially sister T had a very unpleasant quarrel with the band when she left. In an open letter to Sister T, Tuomas and the band members accused her of not caring about the band.
Sister T said that this open letter made her very sad, and finally the two sides insisted on their own words and parted ways. Such an ending can only be said to be bitter fans.
Even now, every time I hear the classic "She is My Sin", I miss Sister T's high-pitched and thick voice. At that time, the grievances gradually blurred, and only the classic songs remained in people's hearts.
The second lead singer, Anette Olzon, nicknamed Sister A by fans. Sister A's voice is relatively low, and when she first joined the band, singing the tracks that were previously arranged according to Sister T's voice were slightly inappropriate.
However, later, Tuomas composed and wrote lyrics according to the characteristics of Sister A's voice, so that Sister A's ethereal voice was played to the extreme.
My favorite song "I Want My Tears Back" sung by Sister A, Chinese translation is "Willing to Sing Teenage Tears", this song depicts a fantasy dream, the lyrics are very good, and every time I listen to it, I don't consciously shake my legs.
Tuomas' commentary on the song is "longing for something long gone, but still having hope to bring it back".
Sister A's time in the team was 2007-2012, and later because of the development concept, she also left the night wish. It can only be said that parting cannot be avoided.
The lead singer who succeeded Sister A was Floor Jansen, who had a fan nicknamed Sister Floor Hahaha. Sister Floor's voice is also biased towards high-pitched and powerful. Sister Floor was halfway to take over sister A's interrupted world tour, so the pressure was relatively high at that time.
But Sister Floor endured these pressures, completed the tour, and eventually became the lead singer of Nightwing in 13 years until today. Fans also appreciate Sister Floor a lot.
The relationship between these three lead singers and Night Wish is inseparable. Even if the first two have left, it cannot be denied that both of them have brought honor to Nightwing.
