On October 22, the Client Reporter of the South China Morning Post learned from the Civil Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region that after the approval of the Civil Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region and the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, four communities such as Xinxingyuan Community in Qingxiu District of Nanning City, Jinhu Community in Qingxiu District of Qingxiu District, and fourteen communities in other districted cities were rated as livable communities for the elderly in Guangxi in 2021.
It is reported that in order to accelerate the reform of home and community old-age services in our region, cultivate and create a number of livable communities for the elderly in Guangxi with functions such as old-age care, day care, home-based old-age care, cultural entertainment, etc., provide convenient and quick old-age services for the elderly, realize the local old-age care of residents, and effectively improve the happiness and sense of gain of the majority of the elderly. To this end, the Civil Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region and the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of the Autonomous Region decided to carry out the creation of livable communities for the elderly in Guangxi throughout the region.
After evaluation, 18 communities in the whole district, including Xinxingyuan Community in Qingxiu District of Nanning City, Jinhu Community in Qingxiu District, Beihu Anju Community in Xixiangtang District, and Luban Community in Xixiangtang District, were rated as livable communities for the elderly in Guangxi in 2021.
AAA-level Guangxi livable community for the elderly must meet the standards of "the community is equipped with a professional pension service organization, and the number of practitioners is not less than 10 (including no less than 5 professional pension care personnel)", and the professional pension service organization has been operating for more than one year.
The Client Reporter of the South China Morning Post learned from the relevant departments that for the creation of livable communities for the elderly in Guangxi with standards of AAA and AAAAA, the autonomous region will give one-time appropriate rewards through the welfare lottery public welfare fund, and the reward funds are mainly used for the construction of public infrastructure for the elderly in the community.
In addition, for the evaluated communities, it is not "once and for all" that can be evaluated, and the relevant departments will regularly evaluate the development of livable communities for the elderly in Guangxi within their jurisdiction, and if the requirements are not met during the follow-up assessment period, the title will be cancelled.

Qinzhou City (2): Sanxuantang Community in Qinnan District, Baishuitang Community in Qinbei District;
Guigang City (1): Donghu Community, Gangbei District;
Baise City (2): Luosuo Community in Youjiang District, Chang'an Community in Tianyang District.
