A "Big Mac" prince of the late Qing Dynasty, YiZhen the Prince of Alcohol (I)

author:Worldly Anderson Double Full Law lxz

20th year of Qing Daoguang, 1840 AD. One day in October, while the Opium War was under fire, the Daoguang Emperor welcomed his seventh son. The first word for the son of the Daoguang Emperor was Yizi, which was a word that the Qianlong Emperor had decreed that all generations had committed. The next word is randomly formulated, and the second word of the Daoguang Emperor's son has a word on the side, which is the symbol of the near branch of the clan. So the seventh son of the Daoguang Emperor was named Yizhen (奕譞).

The Daoguang Emperor had nine sons. The eldest son was named Yi Wei. When the Daoguang Emperor was crown prince, he was born with an envoy named Nalashi. After the birth of the child, Daoguang was ashamed of his landless self-esteem, but the Jiaqing Emperor was very happy, because this was the first grandson. Jiaqing gave the name "Yiwei". Giving Yi Wei's mother a "formality for conversion" and being named "Side Fujin" is a concubine. But the man never had any children again. It can be seen that Dao Guang is angry and is no longer close to her.

Daoguang is grumpy about Yiwei's mother, and he has no good impression of Yiwei, plus Yiwei is laissez-faire and does not concentrate on studying. He even told his teacher, if I could be the emperor, I would kill you first. The teacher was so frightened that he scattered and went to Daoguang to file a complaint. Daoguang gave YiWei a severe beating, and it is said that one of the kicks hit the key part. Three days later, Yi Wei died.

Yi Wei was 24 years old when he died, and Daoguang was 50 years old! And before that, the second son's three sons died one after another, and Daoguang felt that he was desperate! So wept bitterly.

The second son, Yi Gang, was the half-brother of Prince Gong YiXuan( 奕訢) who would later cross the line. Daoguang was born in October 1826 in the sixth year of the year, and died after only five months of life.

The third son, Yi Ji. Daoguang was born in 1829 in the ninth year of the ninth year and died a month later.

Prior to this, the second character of the name of the Daoguang Emperor's son had a twisted silk side, which was the symbol of the near branch of the clan room. Speaking of a bit of a life hanging on the line of meaning, later changed to the word next to the word, to have the meaning of prolonging life.

Therefore, the four sons of Daoguang were named Yixuan. Daoguang eleven years, born in 1831 AD. It was the later Xianfeng Emperor.

Five sons. Six days younger than the Xianfeng Emperor. This person has a similar personality to his eldest brother Yi Weiwei, who does not concentrate on studying, and the history books record that he was naughty enough to pee in the teacher's teapot. In addition, Yi Xi's mother is not favored and has a low status. So in the twenty-sixth year of Daoguang, in 1846 AD, the Daoguang Emperor made a thing that made Yi Xie's mother and son remember their lives--this son was gone, and he was given away. The 15-year-old Yi Xi was dragged out of the Forbidden City by the guards and dragged to the palace where Daoguang's younger brother Miankai the Prince of Wei lived before his death. Became the King of The Counties.

The sixth son, Yi Chen. He was born in 1833, the thirteenth year of Daoguang. Daoguang's beloved son! He was one of the heirs to the throne in the eyes of the Daoguang Emperor. He was the only prince among the sons of Daoguang who was personally made a prince by Daoguang Ye. Moreover, the holy will to make Yixin a prince and the secret will of Li Chu were written together. It can be seen that Daoguang loves and attaches importance to him.

Seven sons. Born in 1840, the twentieth year of Daoguang. Yi Zhen was six years old when Daoguang Lichu was born. Daoguang died at the age of 10. Coupled with the bad luck of the time, the national strength declined. It can be said that after the Opium War, Daoguang no longer has the elegance of children's love. If cixi had not later succeeded his son as emperor (that is, the future Guangxu Emperor), he would have been an ordinary prince like his eighth brother and ninth brother. Drowned in the torrent of history with the passage of time.

The eighth son, Yixuan, was born in the 24th year of Daoguang and was made the Prince of Zhongjun after the Xianfeng Emperor succeeded to the throne in 1844.

The ninth son, Yi Chen, was born in the 25th year of Daoguang in 1845, the youngest son of the Daoguang Emperor, and was created the Prince of Fu Commandery after the Xianfeng Emperor ascended the throne.

Above, we have elaborated on the general situation of the Daoguang Sons, and we will highlight this giant Prince Yizhen.

Daoguang was ten years old when he died, and after Daoguang's death, he was made the King of Alcohol County by his brother Emperor Xianfeng. Because of his young age, he was on the sidelines in the political arena of the Xianfeng Dynasty. Just an ordinary county king is unremarkable.

Xianfeng 11 July 16, 1861 AD August 22. At the summer resort, the Xianfeng Emperor swallowed his last breath. I have gone through a miserable life of depression and widowhood. On his deathbed, the Xianfeng Emperor made arrangements for the power pattern behind him. The Xianfeng Emperor wrote in his will that the emperor's eldest son, Zaichun, was now made crown prince. He wrote Zaiyuan, Duanhua, Jingshou, Sushun, Mu Yin, Kuang Yuan, Du Han, Jiao Youying, and praised all government affairs. He also gave the incoming empress dowager and Concubine Yi a stamp. The subsequent metaphor was drawn up by the eight ministers, and the two empresses stamped at the same time before they took effect.

Unexpectedly, this arrangement triggered the dissatisfaction of Yi Xun's "Beijing Group", coupled with Su Shun's arrogance. Don't put the empress dowager in your eyes. Therefore, Ci'an Cixi joined forces with Yi Zhen yizhen to launch the Xin You coup d'état. The rights were divided between the uncles and sisters-in-law, and the mode of operation of the rights of the empress dowager and the prince was established. It was only at this time that Prince Yizhen of Alcohol entered the central circle of power in the late Qing Dynasty. Although compared with the sixth brother Yixin, I don't know how much inferior, but after all, it has entered the public's field of vision. In the following ten years, Yizhen faithfully carried out all of Cixi's orders.

After the death of his brother Emperor Xianfeng, he was first made a prince by Cixi, and now he has entered the core circle of power of the country. Political status can be described as a step by step. It all seems logical. However, a sudden event more than a decade later broke the calm of all this.

What's going on? Yi Zhen looked unremarkable among the Daoguang Sons. So what impact did this have on Yi Zhen and even the late Qing regime? Dear friends, please pay attention to the next issue. Thanks a lot!
