On October 26th, under the guidance of The China Institute of Scientific and Technological Information, the China Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy, and the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province, sponsored by the Jiangsu Institute of Science and Technology Information, the Jiangsu Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy, and the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, and co-organized by the Suzhou Science and Technology Service Center and the Jiangsu Science and Technology Information Society, the "2021 'SuKeqing' Innovation Forum" with the theme of "Scientific and Technological Information Supporting High-quality Development" was held in Suzhou.
The forum released the "2021 Jiangsu Top 100 Innovative Enterprises List" and introduced the "Industrial Innovation Decision-making Platform". Guodian NARI Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. and other enterprises on the list.
The list shows that there are 78, 11 and 11 companies in southern Jiangsu, central Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu respectively. It is reported that the top 100 innovative enterprises selected have strong independent innovation capabilities, and the internal expenditure of the R&D expenses of the top 100 enterprises accounts for an average of 4.12% of the sales revenue, and the proportion of R&D personnel in the employment reaches 18.25%.
The top 100 innovative enterprises selected have four distinctive characteristics: First, they have strong independent innovation capabilities. Among the top 100 innovative enterprises, the proportion of internal expenditure of R&D funds in sales revenue reached an average of 4.12%, an increase of 0.34 percentage points over the previous year, the proportion of R&D personnel in employees reached 18.25%, an increase of 0.75 percentage points over the previous year; the proportion of sales revenue of new products in total revenue reached an average of 51.92%, an increase of 8.8 percentage points over the previous year. The selected enterprises are all high-tech enterprises or core subsidiaries are high-tech enterprises, all enterprises have established R&D institutions, all have independent intellectual property rights, with 411.9 valid patents and 150.52 valid invention patents per household. Second, the economic benefits of enterprises are good. In 2020, the top 100 innovative enterprises achieved a total of 708.921 billion yuan in main business income, 113.839 billion yuan in profits and taxes, and an average sales profit tax rate of 16.06%. Among them, there are 16 companies with a scale of more than 10 billion yuan, 34 companies with a scale of more than 5 billion yuan, and 90 companies with a scale of more than 1 billion yuan. Third, the industry has great influence. Among the top 100 innovative enterprises, 57 have been selected as provincial innovative leading enterprises in the cultivation pool, 57 have won the national or provincial science and technology progress award, and 72 enterprises have participated in or presided over the formulation of national standards or international standards, which has a strong influence and driving force in the industry. Fourth, the level of innovation management is high. The top 100 innovative enterprises have generally established a modern enterprise system and a relatively perfect corporate governance structure, quality assurance system, intellectual property rights and brand management system, attaching importance to the introduction and training of high-end scientific and technological talents, and the proportion of personnel with master's degree or above accounts for 8.59% of employees.
Since 2016, the Provincial Science and Technology Development Strategy Research Institute and the Provincial Institute of Science and Technology Information have continuously released the list of the top 100 innovative enterprises to the society for six consecutive years, and this list still starts from four aspects, such as innovation input, innovation output, innovation performance, and innovation management, and selects qualitative and quantitative indicators that can effectively reflect the level of innovation and development for the key elements and main links of enterprise innovation, and comprehensively evaluates the level of enterprise innovation and development.
"Facing the 14th Five-Year Plan, the scientific and technological intelligence work is not only facing unprecedented pressure and challenges, but also encountering a very rare important opportunity to 'go up to the next level and go up to the next level.'" At the scene, the "Suzhou Research Center of Jiangsu Institute of Science and Technology Information" jointly built by the Provincial Institute of Science and Technology Information, the Provincial Institute of Science and Technology Development Strategy and the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology relying on the Suzhou Science and Technology Service Center will work together to provide high-quality decision-making consulting and scientific and technological information services for Suzhou.
The forum also awarded the 2021 Jiangsu Science and Technology Information Society Science and Technology Information Achievement Award and the Outstanding Science and Technology Information Worker Award.
