Recently, the "Entrepreneurship China - 2021 Overseas Chinese Elite Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Hangzhou) Summit" co-hosted by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Zhejiang Province and the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, and jointly hosted by the Hangzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Management Committee of the High-tech Zone (Binjiang) and the Government of the High-tech Zone, opened in Hangzhou. With the theme of "New Starting Point, High Quality, And Prosperity", the summit was attended by more than 280 people from relevant domestic departments, overseas Chinese high-level professionals, overseas Chinese leaders, representatives of relevant enterprises and universities, and media representatives.
Li Zhuobin, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, said in his speech that the "Entrepreneurship in China" activity, as an important brand activity created by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, has played an important role in helping overseas Chinese talents innovate and start a business, boosting local economic transformation and upgrading, and promoting "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" since its launch in Hangzhou in 2011, and has been welcomed and affirmed by local party committees, governments and the majority of overseas Chinese. The successful holding of the first ten sessions of the "Entrepreneurship China - Overseas Chinese Elite Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit" has contributed to the implementation of a large number of overseas high-level talents and high-tech projects in Zhejiang and Hangzhou, made positive contributions to the high-quality development of Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou City, and also accumulated valuable experience for the promotion and replication of the "Entrepreneurship China" brand activity in the National Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. It is hoped that the overseas Chinese community will carry forward the tradition, bravely undertake the mission, and contribute to the strength of the overseas Chinese community in the great cause of national rejuvenation; give full play to its advantages, dare to innovate, and show its achievements in the in-depth implementation of the strategy of strengthening the country with talents in the new era; strengthen cooperation, take the lead in the first trial, and show responsibility in helping Zhejiang and Hangzhou build high-quality demonstration zones of common prosperity.
Zhang Weiren, vice chairman of the Zhejiang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, said in his speech that under the strong leadership of the central and Zhejiang Provincial Party Committees and Provincial Governments, and with the precise guidance and strong support of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the System of the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese in Zhejiang Province has carried out a series of effective and influential recruitment and wisdom work in terms of talents and innovation, and Hangzhou is one of the leaders. The "Entrepreneurship China" brand activity, which originated in Hangzhou, has gone through more than ten years of prosperity, more than 560 projects, more than 1,000 overseas Chinese elites, and more than 50 billion yuan of investment, which is the best proof of the mutual achievements of talents and Zhejiang and Hangzhou.
At the meeting, the Hangzhou High-tech Zone (Binjiang) Overseas High-level Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base was awarded the "China Xinqiao Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base" brand, Tianhe Hi-Tech Industrial Park and other 5 units were awarded the "Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base" brand, and the high-tech zone (Binjiang) was promoted as a venture capital environment. Hangzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Zhejiang University Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Alumni Association, Binjiang District Government and Zhejiang Shimai Pharmaceutical and other double-creation projects, Bank of China Hangzhou Branch and other financial institutions and related overseas Chinese enterprises, respectively, held a signing ceremony. A total of 29 projects were signed at the summit site, with a total investment of 11.07 billion yuan.
During the summit, the organizers also arranged activities such as the Yangtze River Delta City Overseas Chinese Innovation Forum, the West Lake Jiang Cun Forum, the Online Live Broadcast to Help Common Prosperity Forum, the Overseas High-level Talent Project Capital Matchmaking Meeting, and the Overseas Talents (Overseas Chinese Leaders) Hangzhou Tour, providing opportunities and platforms for mutual exchanges, shared resources, and win-win cooperation for overseas high-level talents and overseas Chinese leaders.
