Wang Heyong, formerly known as Wang Heyong, was born in 1988, although in the first period of dressing up and talking with James's brother in English, he looked like an urban youth who had stayed in school, but he was actually a student of Gaocheng District in Shijiazhuang who only had the highest education in high school (college dropout, it is said that he was a Hebei Vocational Art College), and every year he had to return to his hometown to help his grandmother's family break the bud rice (his parents were born in the countryside, but he was not, just a stem, not really the meaning of breaking bud rice).
Yong Brother, who came from the grassroots, but has a lofty artistic ideal, felt that the name Wang Heyong was not enough to represent him, so he named himself with the lyrics of the metal band skid row "ricky was a young boy, he had a haert of stone", and found high school classmates at the Shijiazhuang railway station to form the punk band rustic (earth turtle) and began to drift north. Therefore, in the show, he prefers to use the transliteration of Ricky rather than the original name, most likely Ricky's own idea, his insistence on his artistic personality.
As a bassist, Ricky won the GBOB Global Band Competition in Europe with Rustic, but debuted at its peak, rustic has never been popular in China, coupled with the increase in age, punk restless catharsis makes Ricky exhausted, he began to fall in love with more balanced and comfortable Funk music, so he left Rustic and founded funk band CLICK #15.
Funk is a kind of black music originating in the United States, characterized by simple melodic lyrics, complex rhythms, and it makes people want to twist it. In China, it belongs to the niche style, so Ricky has previously had the bitter experience of performing only three audiences to watch, relying on the band to earn only a thousand yuan a month. In order to make ends meet, Ricky has worked as an agent, opened a piano shop, served as the music director of the real estate company Ayana, and his rich resume has improved his artistic literacy and English proficiency, but he has never been able to realize his dream of supporting himself with music, especially during the accident on a motorcycle, because his savings in the hospital almost bottomed out, and the band was also suspended, until 2019, click #15 won the fourth place in the country in the peach factory program "Summer of the Band 1".
