According to public information, Gao Guolin graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in engineering and joined Dongfeng Motor in the same year. He has successively served as the director of the investment department of Shenzhen Dongfeng Real Estate Co., Ltd., the director of the finance department of Fengshen Automobile Co., Ltd. (the predecessor of Dongfeng Nissan), the director of the business planning department of Dongfeng Nissan, the director of the level business department of the marketing headquarters, and the deputy general manager of Dongfeng Venucia. During his tenure at Dongfeng Nissan, Gao Guolin established a two-way reporting financial management mechanism and improved the system construction, management process and internal control management mechanism of Dongfeng Nissan in all aspects of finance.
Since 2016, Dongfeng Nissan has achieved sales of more than one million vehicles in China for five consecutive years. The data shows that even in 2020, which is affected by the epidemic and the cold winter of the automobile market, Dongfeng Nissan terminal sales still exceeded one million to 1,133,186 vehicles.
