In the report on mountain viewing in the first half of 2021 produced by Zhang Wei, Zhang Wei found that in the first half of 2021, there were 26 mountain viewing records in Chengdu. This is less than the 37 days in the first half of 2020 and more than the 23 days in the first half of 2019.
Through data analysis, June 5 was defined by Zhang Wei as the lucky day of mountain viewing. Including the first half of this year, snow-capped mountains such as Siguniang Mountain's Sister Peak have appeared for the fifth time on June 5. In addition, through the previous mountain viewing data, it is known that on April 24, 27, 28, and May 15, there were also three mountain observation reports on this day.
After years of records, Zhang Wei found that April to June is the peak season for mountain viewing in Chengdu, corresponding to the 24 solar terms, which is the period from Qingming to summer; from December to February, it is more difficult to see the mountain, and the best viewing effect is 5:30-08:00 and 18:30-21:00 in a day.
