Generally speaking, a good movie is ruined by a bad soundtrack; but there are a lot of good soundtracks that make a bad movie a good movie. (Like the lackluster plot of "Once Upon a Time" or "Begin Again" without the soundtrack bonus, it is simply unimaginable what word of mouth would look like)
Whether it's the perfect melody that sounds at the right time to sublimate the otherwise bad plot, or the excellent soundtrack throughout the film that makes you unconsciously sit at the end of the movie — there are always some bad movies to thank for those wonderful soundtracks.
At best, a good soundtrack will give you a better movie-going experience; if you think badly, it's that the song will always be tied to the movie for you.
Let's take a look at some of the bad movies that have had wonderful soundtracks.
1. Twilight 2: New Moon
Douban 6.5 points
For most normal fans, the Twilight series is not a good movie, and the second game in the series, Twilight 2: New Moon, is even more recognized as a rotten mess.
This film is not only boring, it is simply boring, but it still becomes the favorite of teenage (female) fans in 2009 with the dramatic setting of "Vampire and Werewolf Century Tearing". The pace of the movie is slow and the plot is boring, but the soundtrack of this one can be called the best in the entire series of movies.
The film's soundtrack was composed by Oscar-winning Alexander Desplat (the "Grand Budapest Hotel" was also his soundtrack); the film was also made by Swedish singer Lykky Li and Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke. In short, the soundtrack of this film should not be overlooked
2. Jennifer's flesh
Douban 5.4 points
This horror comedy starring Megan Fox is a smash — especially when many people expect to see a tertiary film and don't see a big chest.
Fortunately, the film also has a great soundtrack for critics and cinemas to brag about. With florence the Machine contributing the whimsical song "Kiss With a Fist," the soundtrack to Jennifer's Flesh went viral.
In addition, Black Kids' song "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You" continues to be a hit on radio; Hayley Williams' "Teenagers" is also a hit in music collections on major websites. It's a shame that Jennifer's Flesh didn't make it as good as its soundtrack.
3. Fifty shades of gray
Douban 5.0 points
If you've read the original fifty shades of grey novel, you won't be surprised that this original film adaptation turned out to be a bad movie (rotten, not sexy at all).
Admittedly, this movie has allowed a niche sex game like SM to appear in the public eye, but its biggest achievement was to give birth to a movie soundtrack that can be ranked on the music charts.
Among them, "Earned It", brought by Canadian singer Bonsai Brother The Weeknd, was even nominated for an Oscar (yes, you read that right); and Ellie Goulding's song "Love Me Like You Do" is pervasive. The soundtrack of Fifty Shades of Grey is recognized as a very sexy music album, and it's ironic that the film and the original novel don't do that.
Of course, if I have to say the disadvantages, the Beyonce re-recorded version of "Crazy in Love" in this soundtrack is quite ugly.
4. Daydreamer
Douban 8.3 points
If Ben Stiller had replaced the entire movie with a trailer, leaving only Of Monsters and Men's Dirty Paws, all fans who had been tormented by the plot would have been much better off.
You may wish to leave the plot of the heroine of the movie playing David Bowie's "Space Oddity", after all, the role played by Kristen Wegger is probably remembered for this scene.
Responsibly tell you, after watching the following 5-minute clip, this film even if you finish watching!

5. Enigma Apartment
Douban 7.6 points
Don't you know which film is "Enigma Apartment"? In fact, it is a bad film from the French suspense film "Very Apartment L'appartement" in 2004 ("Very Apartment" Douban score 8.2, which is a very good film). The Cast of "Enigma Apartment" is not bad, Josh Hartnett is the best male vase in Hollywood that year (swears to Heaven this is a good review); Diane Kruger is the big beauty who once played Princess Helen in "Troy". They should feel lucky because not many people go to the cinema to see "Enigma Apartments." But for those few who went to the cinema to see "Enigma Apartment," they at least enjoyed an indie rock soundtrack like a musical bead, featuring works by Bands such as The Postal Service, Broken Social Scene, Mates of State.
Needless to say, the big names, snow rangers, lost stars, and demons should all be familiar names.
6, the great Gatsby
Douban 7.7 points
After watching this novel adaptation of the movie, I was a little confused, is there really such an original novel? Also as fanatic as the movie "The Great Gatsby"? Admittedly, the movie looks spectacular, and Little Plum also creates the screen image of Gatsby, a big name. But Buzz Ruchmann apparently didn't do well enough in this film adaptation of Scott Fitzgerald, at least much worse than when he made Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Of course, "The Marvelous Gatsby" still has a very good soundtrack, Jack White's "Love is Blindness" is heartwarming; Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" is also suffocating; and Jay Z's "$100 Bill" is also breathtaking. These songs are a masterpiece in each capital individually, not to mention concentrating them all in one movie.
7. Beach
Well, in this film, The performance of Little Plum has some problems of one kind or another, but finally this film has some very good soundtrack songs. In the 2000 horror film "The Beach", Little Plum is hard to believe that he is the kind of actor who once performed in "Titanic", and the soundtrack of the movie is also not a big production. However, these songs are really good for you to play as background music on the beach, and Moby, Blur, and even Sugar Ray all have great works on the soundtrack.
8. Creation: War Discipline
Douban 6.4 points
There's no doubt that many people overestimate the film (even though it's only 6.4) because of its dazzling virtual effects. Of course, much later one might mistakenly think that TRON: Chronicles of War is actually a game title rather than a movie. But the soundtrack to TRON: Chronicles is well worth listening to, as it uses Daft Punk's Grammy Award-winning Random Access Memories, which is probably a great work worth looking back on over and over again.
9. Love returns to New Jersey
Douban 7.5 points
To tell the truth, when "Love Returns to New Jersey" first came out in 2004, we all liked it. After all, it had already led the way for hipsters before the hipsters were everywhere, and he made Sher in The Big Bang Theory like a medieval knight. The problem, though, is that it doesn't stand the test of time, and today it seems that this film is quite annoying. But thankfully, its soundtrack has stood the test of time, from Coldplay, to The Shins, Colin Hay, Frou Frou, Iron & Wine, these bands are like time capsules from 2004. Maybe it won't change your life, but it's still awesome.
10. Batman forever
Douban 6.6 points
If you're looking for the worst movie with the most classic soundtrack, you're looking for Batman Forever. There was a big hit of the 90s, and it was a real golden age, and in this movie, we're going to be impressed with Seal's Kiss By a Rose and U2's Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me.
