It was in the autumn of 1995, when I was working at the Shahekou District Security Service Company in Dalian, working in security services. One day when I was resting, I went to Labor Park to play, and after swimming in the park, I immediately went to climb the mountain. That mountain is next to Labor Park, and after so many years in Dalian, I don't know the name of that mountain, which is the mountain that owns the Dalian Sightseeing Tower.
Autumn is high and refreshing, more suitable for climbing high and looking far, it should be said that autumn is the best season for climbing mountains. I remember that the weather was very good that day, the sun was shining, I stood on the top of the mountain, I could see almost half of Dalian's urban area, and the development area in the distance was also clearly visible.
At that time, the development zone, the area of the urban area was not very large, but it was very famous in the country, probably because this was the first development zone in China! Before that day, I had only been to the development zone once, and I walked for more than an hour with a small guest, feeling very far away. But that day I stood on the top of the hill and felt very close to the straight-line distance from the development zone, and I was thinking that if I built a cross-sea bridge from the city to the development zone, then it would not take so long to go from the city to the development zone.
After going down the mountain and returning to my work unit, I thought that my idea was very good, and I should inform the Dalian municipal government of my own idea through letters. The decision was made, and I began to act immediately, and it took me about two or three days to write a letter. In that letter, I remember that the content is not very much, the handwriting is not very neat, probably that is, to the development zone, there should be a cross-sea bridge, which will save a lot of time, which is conducive to the development of the two places and other related content.
When I sent the letter, I chose the Century Street Post Office. The person who received the letter, I wrote about the mayor at the time. It didn't take long after the letter was sent, and I completely forgot about it, and wrote to the mayor to suggest the matter. Because it was too young at that time, the thinking was very simple, suddenly found this beautiful city, planning and construction deficiencies, since we found it, we should remind the mayor to see if it can be solved, so that our Dalian is more perfect, the idea at that time was so simple.
At the end of January of '96, when the Spring Festival was approaching, I quit my security job at that time and went back to my hometown for the New Year. In late June of '96, I came to Dalian to look for a job, and stopped by to visit my former colleague, who was still working in a security company at that time, so it was easy to find him. When my colleague saw me, he was very surprised, and then he took out a letter sent to me and asked me to guess who sent it to me.
Where do I guess that? I had resigned and gone home, and my relatives and neighbors knew that it was impossible to send me a letter, so when he said there was my letter, I felt very strange. He couldn't guess how I could guess, so he handed me the letter. At that time, I saw that the sender was the Dalian Rail Transit Office, and I was immediately blindfolded! I thought to myself, why should this rail transit office send me a letter? Open the letter and look at it, all understand!
Didn't I mail a letter to the mayor in October of the previous year proposing to build a bridge across the sea? As a result, the letter was later forwarded to the Rail Transit Office (I don't know why it was transferred to them). Rail transit office, after reading my advice, thought my advice was very good, so it gave me a reply! It was actually a letter of praise, praising my advice very insightfully.
The reply was sent in March 1996, and the address I left behind at that time was the address of the Shahekou District Security Service Company, so the reply was sent to the Shahekou District Security Service Company. This former colleague of mine, who also works at a security service company, works at the following point, and he found the letter when he was on an errand at the security service company. He knew I had resigned, so he took the letter with him, and if I hadn't gone to see him, the reply might not have happened to me. alas! Some things are really fixed in the dark, so that you can't be convinced!
After receiving this reply, I was particularly excited, I had no idea that a letter of advice that I had inadvertently written to the mayor would have a reply from a government department. It's incredible! I am an authentic rural baby, and I am young and have no experience, where I have seen this formation, naturally it is a little floating!
Since I got that reply, I took it out at the first opportunity to show it, and then due to improper preservation, the precious government reply letter did not know where it went, and I was sad for a long time! Although the reply letter from the government department is gone, I have since embarked on the road of writing letters to government departments, enterprises and institutions everywhere to make suggestions!
Probably from August of '96 to the end of 2012, in this 16-year long period, I really don't remember how many letters I sent! All I know is that the letters I sent, plus all the drafts, if stacked, would have been taller than me (I was 1.78 meters tall)!
In the letters sent, up to the relevant departments of the central government (don't laugh, this is true), down to our village (the village chief also looked for me for this), not only that, I also sent letters to many large companies, such as Dalian Wanda, Dalian Yida and so on. In those years, all the letters I sent out were related to development and construction, and they were all signed in a bright and bright way, and there was no other type of letter.
It is also quite ridiculous to say that none of the letters I sent later, except for the two interviews with me after our village chief received them, did not receive a reply. Even if I don't receive a reply, I'm still happy! As long as I feel that what a certain level of government department should build and how a company should operate, I will send them a letter, put forward my own views, hope to be recognized by them, and accept my suggestions.
Although I have never received a reply letter again, I cannot deny that my vision and insights have a great relationship with this letter. This time to 2013, almost to the age of confusion, I finally started a family! My new home is located in Jinzhou District, Dalian, and at this time, I have been working in a foreign company in Dalian Development Zone for many years. After becoming a family, there is a stable job, where there is still free time, and then go to this heart that has no shadow at all!
Since I got married, I have completely stopped writing letters to make suggestions, this time flickered, and after more than 7 years, in the blink of an eye, it was March 2020. One night, not knowing why, I suddenly lost sleep and started thinking again. I thought about it and thought about how to speed up the development of Dalian.
After a night of insomnia, I decided to pick up my pen again and sort out new ideas about the development of Dalian and send them to the Dalian municipal government. I thought so at first, but then I changed my mind. After a few days, I thought that since after sending the letter every time, it was like a stone sinking into the sea and there was no news, then this time it was better to publish it to the media, anyway, now that the media platform is so developed, there should be no problem.
After more than a month of collation, my draft proposal was finally written, and after many considerations, it was finally decided to publish it on May 1 in today's headlines. The reason why I chose to publish on May 1 is because I wanted to choose a meaningful day to do this thing, which I think is very important.
After a very tense and busy time, on the afternoon of May 1 last year, I finally completed the final review of this proposal in the draft box of the headline, and after confirming that there were no errors, I published the proposal. Before publishing this proposal, I had never published any form of work on various media platforms, and this proposal opened my first time.
After about twenty minutes of review by the platform, my proposal was finally published on the headline number, and it was not in vain for more than a month, it was really not easy! In the next few days after publishing this article on the headline number, I shared the link to this article to the circle of friends and many WeChat friends. There is no other meaning, just to let more people know about my suggestion.
After the publication of this article, I was ready to rest my efforts and not worry about these things that should not be worried about me, but I did not expect that there were many friends who spoke highly of my proposal. But I didn't expect that there was a friend who made me respect very much, and I praised this article I published. She called me directly to praise me, saying that my article was very good and suggesting that I should continue to write. I was greatly touched by her words, and the article I wrote was able to gain her approval, which really surprised me!
I think that since my article can be recognized by everyone, anyway, idle is idle, then continue to use spare time to create hard, and then publish it on the headline number! So since May of last year, I have been publishing articles I have written on the headline number, and since then I have been out of control and have been trying to persist until now.
When I started to create, I was full of difficulties, after all, we were not from the class, and we had been engaged in manual labor for a long time, and I wanted to engage in the creation of words, which was so easy! But the encouragement of relatives and friends, coupled with their own persistence, finally the more I write the more active my thinking, the more I write, the broader my horizons!
Now, my interest in self-media creation is very high, not only in terms of articles, but also in other creative forms such as micro-headlines, Q&A, and videos, but also to try hard. The selected publishing platform is no longer limited to the headline number, and other similar self-media platforms often publish various works. For the creation of self-media, I will continue to insist, because I found that only engaging in self-media creation is the most suitable profession for me.
If I want to find its roots, it is probably because of the letter of advice I sent to the mayor of Dalian 26 years ago! If I hadn't written that letter of advice, or if the government hadn't replied, or if I hadn't received the reply, it would have been unlikely that I would have had such a passion for writing all these years.
