
The Municipal Archives continues to strengthen the collection of archival resources, especially red archives, make good use of living red resources, and strive to build a "red gene bank", and the total collection of the museum has recently exceeded 900,000 volumes (pieces, volumes).
Since the beginning of this year, the Municipal Archives has publicly collected precious historical materials that have witnessed the century-long glory of the Communist Party of China and recorded the social development and changes in the vast rural areas, which have received positive responses from all walks of life. Up to now, a total of 75 historical materials (volumes) of 22 kinds such as the 1948 Taiyuan Campaign Meritorious Service Awards, personal memoirs, and "Battlefield Military Souls" have been collected, and 12 kinds of 19 volumes of village histories from Xin Village, Dujiazhai Village, Beiyan Village and other villages have been collected. Received 4 units, including the former Planning Bureau, the former Land Bureau, and the former Urban Construction And Operation Company, 110968 volumes (pieces) of archives and 59,233 volumes (pieces) of electronic archives, which further enriched the total amount of the collection. Planned to launch the "Centennial Style - Red Archives Document Exhibition", integrated social red resources, and actively joined hands with the Provincial Collectors Association Ticket Professional Committee and the well-known painter Mr. Xu Wenjing to jointly hold the "Square Inch World • Centennial Party History - Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China Red Ticket Exhibition" and "Book Painting Road - Xu Wenjing Chinese Painting Hundred Bull Picture Exhibition".
According to the deployment of the municipal party committee, the municipal archives also actively assisted in the preparation of the Taiyuan history exhibition of the Communist Party of China, providing 14 groups (pieces) of exhibits on the early founding of the Party, the Shanxi War of Resistance, the liberation of Taiyuan, urban planning, and the "First Five-Year Plan". Provide solid and powerful archival support for taiyuan daily newspaper to celebrate the "July 1st" special issue, and jointly launch a series of archival cultural topics such as "Centennial Red Archives" with Taiyuan Radio and Television Station, vividly telling the story of the party's centennial with the original archives, providing materials for the city's party history study and education and celebrating the centenary of the founding of the party, and contributing archival strength to the transformation and development of our city.
