Foreign media even published it under the headline "Victorious Division Sleeping on the Streets", and the United Press Agency of the United States wrote: "The Chinese Communist Army has excellent military discipline, has a disciplined approach, and is polite and thoughtful... Although there are many building gates open, which can be used as barracks, while the Chinese Communist army still sleeps on the sidewalk..." American "Life" magazine commented: "Various sources point to a historical fact, that is, the end of the Kuomintang era and the beginning of a new era."
