On July 25th, after experiencing the challenges on the routes of Qinghai Lake, Atomic City, Dabanshan, Fragrant Bath, etc., the participating vehicles of the 8th Tour de YWR concluded perfectly and held a closing ceremony at the Qinghai Grand Theatre, and at the same time held an award ceremony and announced the winners of the 8th CEVR Electric Vehicle Challenge in the evening. Among them, the top three points rankings in the whole challenge are Hongqi E-HS9, BYD Han EV, and Dongfeng Lantu FREE.
After the closing ceremony, a pure electric car race was set up in a professionally modified venue. The track of the racing race is a clockwise irregular circular asphalt road closure track, and integrates classic elements such as undulating pavement, high-speed bend, hairpin bend, right angle bend, compound bend, etc., which can fully display the comprehensive performance of the participating electric vehicles.
The star group champion was won by the famous movie star Huang Junpeng, the gymnastics Olympic champion Xing Aowei won the second place, the gymnastics world champion Kui Yuanyuan won the third place, and the gymnastics world champions Bi Wenjing and Mo Huilan won the winner's award. The drivers' championship was taken away by rally driver Hu Yunfei, the runner-up and third-place were Huang Ningji and Guo Xin, and Deng Xiaowen and Ruan Lin won the winner's award.
The champion of the Venue Racing Manufacturers' Cup was won by Lantu FREE, the driver was Zhang Rui; the runner was Beijing EU5 PLUS, and the driver was Deng Xiaowen; the third runner was also from Lantu FREE, and the driver was Guo Wei. CEVR Ring Qinghai Lake (International) Electric Vehicle Challenge has been successfully held for eight sessions since its inception in 2014, in my opinion, the Tour de YW is not a fierce event that you compete for, more like a large-scale carnival and party of electric vehicles, and can also be said to be a centralized tour and comprehensive display platform for the development of New Energy Vehicles in China. The disadvantage and regret is that almost all of the participating models are independent brand models, and few international brands or joint venture brands appear, or have certain limitations, which are not in line with the word "international" marked by them. However, there are also reasons why international or joint venture brands produce too few models based on pure electric platforms. However, with the development of electric vehicles, the participating models of the Future Tour 20 may be gradually internationalized and diversified.
