Project-based learning drives change in classroom teaching

In order to promote the professional development of physics teachers in our district, let teachers improve themselves in reflection, and promote project-based learning classroom teaching practices in peer assistance. On April 8, 2021, the Jiujiang District Physics Classroom Teaching Seminar and Training Activity was held at the Xingchen Branch of Hanwen School.

Teacher Wang Feng of Xingchen School showed a unique open class "The Power of Air", teaching around the real situation in life - the lunch box that cannot be opened, using circular progressive teaching, from the presentation of problems, the causes of formation, the solution of the solution continues to deepen, through experiments to let students intuitively feel and understand the existence of atmospheric pressure. Throughout the lesson, students are interested, able to think positively and try to solve problems, and classroom teaching evaluation can continue throughout the classroom teaching. Teacher Wang was well prepared before class, had clear teaching ideas, highlighted difficult points, and made certain attempts to use information technology to change the learning method.

After class, the participating teachers discussed in combination with Wang Feng's lectures and classroom teaching, and gave pertinent evaluations and suggestions, reflecting the good teaching and research atmosphere of promoting research with lessons and promoting teaching with research. Finally, Teacher Chen Fenglin made suggestions on the innovation and display of experimental teaching design in this lesson, shared experimental teaching innovation design cases to carry out training activities, and publicized and mobilized the excellent self-made teaching aids exhibition and evaluation activities to be carried out in our city.
