According to documentary materials and ancient inscriptions, Qinglian Temple had a grand custom of worshipping the moon, worshipping the moon and appreciating the moon as early as the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and even more so in the Tang and Song dynasties, and it has had considerable influence in the Guzezhou region and its surrounding areas of southeastern Jin, northwestern Henan, and southern Jinan, and gradually changed from moon worship and moon worship to moon appreciation. According to the inscription of the stone pillar of the First Year of the Song Dynasty (1098) of the Qinglian Temple, the Zezhou Tongjue Duan was about to ling Geng Min of Jincheng, and the county lieutenant Huang Shu'ao and others "walked in the moon and passed on the poetry". Li Junmin of the Jin Dynasty visited Qinglian Temple during the Mid-Autumn Festival to enjoy the moon with a verse of "Three More Moons on the Mountain, Pine Shakes the Wind".
The 15 "Welcome Bells" sound represent the long history of Qinglian Temple for more than 1,500 years, and also unveil the prelude to the first "Qinglian Moon Appreciation Forum".
