Yanghui Village, located in the eastern part of Zhangjixin Community in Xiangshui County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, is the largest and largest ethnic minority village with the largest concentration of Hui residents in Yancheng City, with a population of 2726 people, of which 683 are registered in the village. In the past, Yanghui Village was a well-known local "poor village", with low incomes and slow collective economic development at the village level, and in 2016 it was also listed as an economically weak village in Jiangsu Province.

In recent years, the general branch of the Yanghui Village Party has taken the creation of the "Four Excellent Branches" of the Organization Department of the Xiangshui County Party Committee as the carrier, clarified the development idea of "one cow per household, one sheep per capita, one garden in the field, and one worker in the factory", and vigorously developed characteristic industries such as cattle and sheep breeding and vegetable planting.

After several years of unremitting efforts, the former "poor and prosperous" has now become a "well-off construction demonstration village" and "civilized village" in Xiangshui County, a "national economic characteristic village" and a "national work characteristic village" in Yancheng, and in 2019, it was also awarded the title of "agricultural industrialization demonstration base" by the Jiangsu Provincial Government.

Cattle and sheep breeding is a traditional industry in Yanghui Village. Yanghui Village implements the model of large breeding households driving small households, supports 6 characteristic breeding projects, cultivates 36 breeding and operating households, and increases the average annual income of households by about 20,000 yuan. On the basis of lengthening the industrial chain of rough cattle and sheep breeding, they also introduced an investment of 20 million yuan from Jiangsu Tongxin Food Co., Ltd. to build a beef and mutton processing plant, which directly led to the employment of more than 100 people.
Yang Shoucheng, who has been raising cattle since the age of eighteen or nineteen, is a well-known vegetable cattle breeder, with an average of more than 100 vegetable cattle per year on the farm, and has also opened a number of beef franchise stores.

In order to make the vegetable planting industry bigger and stronger, Zhang Shuliang has organized mass representatives to visit and study in southern Jiangsu and Shandong for many times, and has successively transferred more than 1,000 mu of land to develop modern agriculture such as shallow water lotus and greenhouse vegetables, and often invites agricultural experts to the fields to teach planting techniques to the masses. At the same time, relying on the Zhangji center community agricultural products deep processing base, Yanghui Village implemented the operation mode of "cooperative + base + ethnic minority households", established 8 professional cooperatives of various types, and successively absorbed more than 120 ethnic minority laborers, with an annual per capita net income of 16,000 yuan, directly driving 46 ethnic minority families to increase their income and become rich.

Yanghui Village also introduced 60 million yuan to build a "Hui hometown customs ecological park", and plans to build a Hui folk customs hall, a Muslim street, a Hui people's commodity exchange, a Muslim cultural park and other characteristic attractions, in order to package and promote, forming a rural tourism with Hui customs characteristics. At present, the ecological park of the homecoming style has become a little famous, and people often go to leisure and play on holidays, and also undertake activities such as outward training and team building of enterprise units. Especially in August, there is an endless stream of tourists who come to pick grapes, and the brand effect of eco-tourism is expanding day by day.
"Our hometown customs garden relies on Yanghui Village to develop, transferred more than 500 acres of land, recruited local villagers to work, and employed more than 60 people every day when busy, about 200 yuan per person per day, effectively driving the village collective and villagers to increase income, achieving a win-win situation." Now the days are getting better and better, I have moved to a new home, and the food factories and customs gardens not far from home can make money by doing odd jobs, thanks to the party's good policies! More than 120 families like Uncle Su have moved into the new home. In 2018, Yanghui Village implemented the Happy Settlement Project, and in accordance with the requirements of the construction of "villages with ethnic minority characteristics", it has invested more than 15 million yuan to build a new type of community, which can resettle 300 ethnic minority households, and there are kindergartens, cultural squares, supermarkets, health centers, etc. around it.
In 2019, the Organization Department of the Xiangshui County Party Committee built a 1,100-square-meter party and mass service center in the new community of Yanghui Village, equipped with more than ten functional rooms such as convenience centers, party member activity rooms, and rural bookstores. Village cadres sit in shifts normally and implement "one-stop service," and villagers can handle labor security, family planning, civil affairs services, and other related matters as long as they find one person.
In addition to handling business, the party and mass service center is also a villagers' emotional exchange center and a contradiction mediation center. As soon as everyone has time, they gather here to chat, play chess, do needlework, etc.; if they encounter contradictions and disputes, the two sides will go to the negotiation and mediation room, and there will be someone to help mediate.
