According to Japanese media reports, in April last year, Japan's "New Map" group and the consortium jointly established the "Pocket of Love" foundation. So far, the foundation has donated a total of 163.29 million yen to 34 hospitals in the name of "Fighting COVID-19". The "New Map" combo was created by Goro Inagaki, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, and Shingo Katori.

The foundation's support targets include designated hospitals for COVID-19 (including special cases, type I and II infection cases), designated hospitals established by corresponding localities, and hospitals that actively admit and treat cases of COVID-19 infection. From them, they selected cities with a permanent population of more than 1 million (including nearby cities and villages), in prefectures with a wide range of infections, and hospitals that actually treated a large number of patients with COVID-19 infection as the main targets for donation. It is reported that this donation will be used to purchase ventilators and air purifiers.

Inagaki said: "I hope that this move will bring some help to those who have difficulties." Grass Shear said that he will donate in the future: "I hope that all donors can feel our gratitude." Katori appealed: "Everyone's donation can make thousands of people smile again, and I would like to thank you for your great love." The situation in Japan is still very serious, so let's work hard together."

This is the 8th donation of the "Pocket of Love" Foundation. So far, the funds raised by the foundation have been used to support children's canteens, travel subsidies for medical practitioners who use taxis, help adoptive families, and add ambulances. (きょうさん/译)
