Born in 852, Zhang Quanyi was a well-known figure during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, originally named Zhang Yan, and later Tang Zhaozong gave him the name "Zhang Quanyi".
Originally, Zhang Quanyi was just a farmer who farmed the land, but later, because he participated in the Huangchao Uprising, he had the opportunity to enter the official field. During this uprising, Zhang Quanyi was appointed as the official Shangshu and the envoy of water transportation, responsible for managing matters related to water transportation. However, in the end, the Huangchao Rebellion ended in failure, forcing Zhang Quanyi to flee to Henan and defect to the famous Tang dynasty generals. Later, in the barracks, he made many military achievements and was reused by the commander-in-chief.
Zhang Quanyi once worked as an errand boy in Henan, responsible for the governance of the Luoyang area.
At that time, Luoyang was no longer the original national capital, but had long since become dilapidated due to years of war, and there were suffering refugees everywhere. However, Zhang Quanyi, as a manager, was not frightened. He actively participated in the rescue operations of the masses, recruiting and properly resettling the wandering refugees. He then demanded that the refugees be able to pick up their hoes again, go back to the fields, and resume farming.
Because of Zhang Quanyi's efforts, Luoyang's economy has been revived, and the operation of the city is on the right track. Moreover, Zhang Quanyi is particularly concerned about the production problems of the peasants, and once the farmers get a good harvest, he will always praise them and hope that they will continue to refuel. If the farmer's land is underproductive, he will be kind enough to soothe them and help them find the cause and make improvements together.
Under Zhang Quanyi's dedicated governance, the people of Luoyang helped each other and regained a rich life. Because Zhang Quanyi did his best to help the people restore production and rebuild their homes, he won the love of the people and was a capable parent official. The improvement of people's lives is inseparable from the support of the government, and Zhang Quanyi has played a supporting role and made contributions to the localities.
Zhang Quanyi and Zhu Wen were both famous figures during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Zhang Quanyi was a general, and Zhu Wen was the founding emperor of the Liang State. Zhu Wen once submitted to the Tang Dynasty, and later, disobeying the Tang Dynasty's control, decided to usurp the throne and become the ruler of the new country. When Zhu Wen was emperor, he attached great importance to the development of the country's agriculture, not only to reduce the people's taxes as much as possible, so that the people had a chance to breathe, but also conducive to the development of agriculture.
But in the end, Zhu Wen was killed by his son and died in 912.
So, what kind of story happened between Zhang Quanyi and Zhu Wen?
Zhu Wen once saved Zhang Quanyi, and Zhang Quanyi was grateful to him. Therefore, when Zhu Wen decided to usurp the throne, Zhang Quanyi did not stop him, on the contrary, he also helped Zhu Wen. However, Zhang Quanyi had his own misgivings, he had been used by Tang Zhaozong, afraid that Zhu Wen would not trust him. Therefore, Zhang Quanyi decisively gave up his existing position in exchange for Zhu Wen's trust.
Later, Zhu Wen succeeded to the throne, and he not only gave Zhang Quanyi the title of official, but also praised Zhang Quanyi's loyalty to liang in front of his ministers. After that, Zhang Quanyi carefully followed Zhu Wen, not only helping him deal with logistics and other matters, but also enduring his insults.
So, how did Zhu Wen insult Zhang Quanyi?
Zhu Wen had a relationship with Zhang Quanyi's wife and daughter one after another, but Zhang Quanyi did not react at all, or did things for Liang Guo wholeheartedly. Luoyang became dilapidated because of the war, and was full of refugees affected by the disaster, thanks to Zhang Quanyi's effective governance, Luoyang was restored to its former vitality. Moreover, Zhang Quanyi not only gave the local people a sense of belonging again, but also allowed them to engage in agricultural production with peace of mind and live their own small lives. The people can get rid of hunger through their own labor, and they can still keep some savings, even if they encounter droughts and floods, they will no longer go hungry.
Because of this incident, Zhang Quanyi left a good impression on people, and everyone praised him as a capable and prestigious magistrate.
Of course, some people look down on Zhang Quanyi, because he has not handled human ethics well.
Zhu Wen did save Zhang Quanyi's life, and Zhang Quanyi repaid him with loyalty to the Lord. In fact, Zhang Quanyi's doing this is enough, because Zhu Wen can't expect Zhang Quanyi to give everything to repay him, which is inappropriate. In addition, Zhu Wen should not defile Zhang Quanyi's wife and daughter, and Zhang Quanyi should not guard his foolish loyalty and ignore the persecution of his family, and he did not fulfill the obligations of a father and husband.
According to historical records, Zhu Wen was an out-and-out lustful person, and he heard that Zhang Quanyi's wife and daughter looked extraordinary, so he had evil intentions and tried to occupy them as his own. Later, Zhu Wen took the opportunity to visit Zhang Quanyi's home and saw two women who had been admired for a long time, but they had defiled their wives and daughters in his home. After the incident, Zhang Quanyi's son rushed up desperately to fight with Zhu Wen, but was stopped by Zhang Quanyi and said that Zhu Wen had saved his life.
Zhu Wen did save Zhang Quanyi's life, and even many of his things were rewarded by Zhu Wen, so in this matter, he had no choice. However, the family is the object that we need to protect, as a husband and father, Zhang Quanyi, can not protect his family, let them be bullied by bad people, this is a complete personal failure.
In addition, Zhang Quanyi ostensibly remembered Zhu Wen's kindness, but in fact, he did not dare to rebel against the magnates and cherished his political life. He should be ashamed of this!
