On September 26, the 2019-2020 special support fund acceptance meeting of the State Key Laboratory of Reliability and Intelligence of Electrical Equipment jointly built by the province and the ministry was held in the Beichen Campus Library. The acceptance meeting was organized by the Science and Technology Department of Hebei Province, and Li Zhiping, secretary of the Platform Department of the Science and Technology Department of Hebei Province, attended the meeting. The acceptance expert group is composed of Professor Wang Xiaoyuan of Tianjin University, Fan Huizheng, senior engineer of Hebei Electric Power Company, Ji Huiqiang, senior engineer of State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Research Institute, Li Jincai, researcher of Hebei Agricultural University, Associate Professor Liu Pengfei of Shijiazhuang Railway University, and Wu Junzheng, senior accountant of Tianjin University of Commerce. Professor Han Xu, President and Director of the Laboratory, Professor Ma Guowei, Vice President, Professor Wang Xin, Executive Vice President of the Academy of Science and Technology, Professor Liu Xiaoming, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Executive Director of the State Key Laboratory of Provincial and Ministerial Co-construction, Professor Liu Fugui, Executive Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Provincial and Ministerial Co-construction, Li Hongshi, Vice President of the Academy of Science and Technology, Researcher Liu Weipeng, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Provincial and Ministerial Co-construction, Professor Zhang Chuang, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Provincial and Ministerial Co-construction, and representatives of the LABORATORy PI team attended the acceptance meeting. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Professor Ma Guowei.
Ma Guowei delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the school, thanked the expert group for coming, and briefly introduced the school's support for the laboratory during the construction period of the project. Li Zhiping introduced the project acceptance procedure.
Liu Xiaoming made a work report on the research content, output of achievements, talent training and discipline echelon construction, academic exchanges, condition construction, completion of assessment indicators, fund expenditure, and next step work plan of the laboratory in 2019-2020.
After the report, the members of the acceptance expert group consulted the relevant documents of the laboratory construction and went to the laboratory site inspection, and through comprehensive review, the expert group unanimously agreed that the state key laboratory has exceeded the construction task of 2019-2020, reached the annual construction goal of the provincial and ministerial joint construction of the state key laboratory, and agreed to pass the acceptance. The expert group suggested that under the background of double carbon, the research direction of the laboratory should continue to focus on the electrical equipment industry, focus on support, and produce landmark results.
Li Zhiping suggested that the laboratory focus on the reliability and intelligence of electrical equipment, condense the research direction, and improve the basic scientific research ability. Focusing on the major needs of the country, the theory behind the phenomenon is revealed. Implement new ideas and create new patterns. Increase the intensity of laboratory opening, so that the station is high, see far, and think deeply.
Finally, President Han Xu thanked the participating experts again for their arrival, and said that the laboratory would further strengthen the management of the laboratory according to the opinions of the expert group, and give play to the important role of the laboratory in scientific research and talent training.
