Among them, five institutions from Liangjiang New Area, such as the Chongqing Research Institute of the National University of Singapore, Chongqing Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd., the Chongqing Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology, Chongqing Xintong Electronics Co., Ltd., and MCC SAIDI Group Co., Ltd., became the first batch of member units.
According to reports, the alliance will make full use of international and domestic advantages under the framework of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Strategic Connectivity Demonstration Project, and has gathered 35 institutions such as scientific and technological research and development, patent protection, achievement transformation, and financial investment to build a channel in the field of technology in Chongqing and Singapore, carry out technology introduction and technical services, and jointly promote the long-term and stable technology transfer and intellectual property transfer between Chongqing and Singapore and overseas enterprises.
Specifically, the alliance will take Singapore as the fulcrum, radiate Southeast Asian countries and regions, introduce high-tech, scientific research achievements, high-value patents, etc. urgently needed for Chongqing's economic and social development, serve the economic and social development of Chongqing and the western region, and provide a full range of comprehensive services with intellectual property protection and technology transfer as the core for Enterprises in Singapore and Singapore in Chongqing and Western Provinces and Cities, and Singapore's investment enterprises in Chongqing and Western Provinces and Cities.

At present, Liangjiang New Area is constantly stimulating the endogenous power of enterprises and cultivating a number of intellectual property benchmarking enterprises. By the end of 2020, there will be 111 national and municipal demonstration enterprises in Liangjiang New Area, accounting for about 1/8 of the city, 310 enterprises with consistent standards, accounting for 1/4 of the city, and 27 enterprises have been selected into the city's top 100 patent innovation list, ranking first in the city.
