Ecological promenade
The Zhangjihuai high-speed railway spans 3 cities and prefectures in Huaihua City, Hunan Province, Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Western Hunan Province, and Zhangjiajie City, and 7 counties and municipalities. The whole line is about 246.9 kilometers, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and there are 7 stations in Zhangjiajie West, Furong Town, Guzhang West, Jishou East, Fenghuang Ancient City, Mayang West and Huaihua South Station.
From the beginning of the planning, the railway builders have proposed ecological priority and teaching nature. "In the process of construction, we have comprehensively strengthened the work of environmental protection, comprehensively protected 16 environmentally sensitive areas along the high-speed rail line involving nature reserves of all levels, forest parks, water source protection areas, scenic spots, etc., on the basis of restoring the original ecological environment, we have also planted many green plants on both sides of the high-speed rail line, and created more than 80 new high-speed rail ecological landscapes along the way." Along the Zhangjihuai high-speed railway, there are well-known attractions such as Wulingyuan, Tianmen Mountain, Furong Town, Mengdong River, Dwarf Zhai Bridge, Deram Grand Canyon, Phoenix Ancient City, Mayang Shouxiang, Hongjiang Ancient Shopping Mall, Zhijiang Anti-Japanese Surrender Memorial Hall and other well-known attractions, which is a golden tourist line. Along the way, it is even more picturesque, not only through the Wuling Mountains, but also across the Lishui, Youshui, Gonghe, Tuojiang, Jinjiang and Wushui rivers. In Changwan of Zhangjihuai High-speed Railway, you can see the beautiful scenery of "four dragons out of the mountains". Four high-speed rail EMUs exit from four parallel tunnels at high speed, reflecting the mountain-like station buildings of Zhangjiajie West Railway Station. The data shows that there are as many as 280 bridges and tunnels on the zhangjihuai high-speed railway, with a bridge-tunnel ratio of 90.7%, and less than 10% of the lines on the flat ground. Throughout the line, stations, tunnels and bridges are basically built on the mountains, cliff edges, and fields, which is a veritable "cloud high-speed rail".
From the city of Guzhang County, overlooking the direction of the high-speed railway, you can only see a ring viaduct of hundreds of meters circling upwards. The clouds are swirling, and the 4 red characters of "Guzhang West Station" are faintly visible in the fog.
Guzhang, located in the foothills of Wuling Mountain, above the Cambrian fault zone. The geological movement of the mulberry fields over hundreds of millions of years has evolved into a unique geological wonder - the red stone forest. Its unique form has become the creative source for the construction of Guzhang west station: the newly built station house surface is like the stone forest mountains and seas deposited over hundreds of millions of years, and there is also the wisdom of the local residential roof against the yu and the sun, and the layers of falling cornices create a free-growing stone forest intention. The natural and smooth curved curtain wall and the stalagmite forest-like colonnade bring visitors a spatial experience with regional characteristics.

Jishou East Railway Station adopts the flowing landscape as a design element. The façade shape is supported by four giant structures of "jade trees" to support the overall roof, and the composition is stable and solemn. The pillars are connected to the roof like the canopy of four leafy trees. The interior is designed with the theme of "The Soul of Wuling, The Charm of Xiangxi". It integrates the ancient rhyme of Jishou and interprets it with modern design techniques, combining tradition and modernity, and the humanities and ecology are the same color. The Decorative Elements are then partially embellished with Tujia brocade "Xilan Kapu" and Miao "Embroidery" to create an artistic atmosphere with a national atmosphere.
Fenghuang Ancient City Station combines elements such as the rolling mountains of Fenghuang, the stilt houses along the Tuojiang River, and the continuous slope roof to create a unique architectural style. The overall theme of the station waiting hall is "Lingxiu Landscape, Phoenix Dance Xiangxi", which reflects local characteristics through the extraction, simplification and application of elements such as landscapes, phoenix ornaments, and traditional residential buildings.
The design of Furong Town Station follows the concept of "creating landscapes according to the mountains and painting with the trend", highlighting the beauty of the angles of the Yongshun Tujia Stilt House, integrating the image of the mountain into the architecture, with the movie "Furong Town" as the preface, using the "Battle of Xizhou" and "Maogusi Dance" as the guide, gradually highlighting the 3,000-year-old history and architectural beauty of Furong Town.
With the theme of "Charming Miao Township, Fushou Mayang", the façade shape is taken from the local natural mountain trend and the undulating Miaozhai sloped roof; the interior decoration model extracts the local Panhu totem culture, through the shou character pattern of the ceiling, the plate totem of the column, the former residence of Teng Daiyuan on the wall and the relief of Wenming Mountain, the meaning of longevity and blessing are combined with the local characteristic culture, and the unique charm of Mayang West Railway Station is formed together.
Development engine
The soon-to-be-official opening of the Zhangjihuai high-speed railway can carry more than 1,000 passengers, the ability to transport passengers is strong, basically allowing passengers to go with them, the implementation of "public transport" transportation, from Zhangjiajie to Huaihua, the fastest 1 hour can arrive. Zhangjiajie, Xiangxi Prefecture and Huaihua, the three major cities in western Hunan, will be connected by the Zhangjihuai high-speed railway into a "beautiful city belt".
