On the afternoon of September 28, the 25th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th Autonomous Regional People's Congress held its second plenary meeting and voted to approve the appointment and dismissal of personnel.
The meeting decided to accept Li Shuiheng's request to resign as a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th People's Congress of the Autonomous Region.
Zhao Haidong was dismissed from his post as deputy director of the Budget Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Regional People's Congress.
It was decided to dismiss Zou Zhanye from his post as vice chairman of the autonomous region and Liu Hongwu from the post of director of the autonomous region's development and reform commission.
It was decided to appoint Tang Yiang (female) as the director of the Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission.
Wei Yunzhong was appointed as a member of the Autonomous Region Supervision Commission.
Liu Pengfei was dismissed from his post as a member of the Autonomous Region Supervision Commission; and Hong Biao was dismissed from his post as a member of the Autonomous Region Supervision Commission.
The meeting also adopted other appointments and dismissals.

The Standing Committee of the Beihai Municipal People's Congress elected Wang Weiping as a deputy to the 13th People's Congress of the Autonomous Region. The Standing Committee of the Guigang Municipal People's Congress elected Yan Jiuqiu as a deputy to the 13th People's Congress of the Autonomous Region. The Standing Committee of the Yulin Municipal People's Congress elected Li Weizhang as a deputy to the 13th People's Congress of the Autonomous Region. The Standing Committee of the Laibin Municipal People's Congress elected Liao Heming and Wei Ping as deputies to the 13th People's Congress of the Autonomous Region. The Standing Committee of the Autonomous Regional People's Congress agreed with the examination report of the Qualification Examination Committee of the Autonomous Regional People's Congress Standing Committee and confirmed that the qualifications of Wang Weiping, Yan Jiuqiu, Li Weizhang, Liao Heming, and Wei Ping were valid.
The Standing Committee of the Wuzhou Municipal People's Congress decided to accept Fang Fang's request to resign as a deputy to the 13th People's Congress of the Autonomous Region. The Standing Committee of the Yulin Municipal People's Congress decided to accept Won Lee's request to resign as a deputy to the 13th People's Congress of the Autonomous Region. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Representation Law, Fang Fang and Won Lee's representation qualifications were terminated.
Up to now, the 13th People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has 688 deputies.
