On the afternoon of October 26, Liu Yong, vice mayor of Miluo City, led the responsible persons of the Municipal Government Office, the Municipal River Chief's Office, the Water Conservancy Bureau and other relevant departments to carry out inspection work in Taolin River and supervise the implementation of the "river chief system" in Baitang Town and TaolinSi Town.

After inspecting the Baitang section of the Taolin River and the entrance section of the Miluo River on the spot and learning in detail about the management of the water environment in and around the Taolin River, Liu Yong demanded that all departments at all levels attach great importance to the work of the river chief system, adhere to the orientation of problems, conscientiously check and sort out existing problems, establish a list of problems, refine the work plan, and rectify and implement it in a timely manner; it is necessary to establish a long-term mechanism for supervision, reward the good and punish the inferior, do a good job in the planning and rectification of the river and the surrounding environment, and promote the ecological protection and construction of the water environment.
