Until September this year, for three consecutive nights, a factory in Zhangguo Town, Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province, found that a large number of 316 and 304 stainless steel hexagonal rods were stolen, with a total value of about 600,000 yuan. According to the factory, usually these steel products are scattered in the open space of the factory area, if it is not weighed and shipped, it is still in the dark.
Through the monitoring of the factory area and the on-site investigation, the police found that the suspect was sophisticated, disguised as a late-night crime throughout the whole process, and left no obvious traces at the scene. The police took 42 surveillance sites along the way, nearly 40G video, studied and analyzed all night, and finally captured the suspect's traces in a surveillance 2 kilometers away from the factory area. Through several days of platooning, the police determined that the suspects Wang Mou and Feng Mou, both of whom had 10 years of imprisonment and previous experience in stealing industrial raw materials. From November 16 to the end of the month, the special case team arrested 2 suspects of theft and 3 suspects of receiving stolen goods.
To the surprise of the police, since 2018, the theft gang headed by Wang Mou has sold stolen goods at one-third of the market price every time, and the WeChat collection alone has reached 386, with a total amount of more than 1.3 million. The main suspect who obtained the stolen money, Wang Mou, "stole" into a millionaire in 2 years.
