Recently, a black lyre chicken flew out of the forest on the west side of the De'erpur Forestry Bureau, fell into the sea buckthorn bush in the courtyard of the Fire Prevention Office, foraged for the fruit on the tree, and constantly flew around the street, attracting many people to watch.
Black harp chicken, also known as black pheasant, black chicken, belongs to the order of chickens, grouse, a medium-sized bird, belongs to the national second-class protected animals. The arrival of this black lyre chicken, the locals speculated that the snow closed the mountain and was difficult to find a source of food, found the sand thorn tree fruit in the courtyard, so they flew down the mountain and chose to sneak between the bushes. Even if someone looks closely, it is still my own way, pecking at the sand thorn fruit. This male chicken with a body length of about 50 centimeters is shaped like a large rooster.
Black lyre chickens often inhabit the branches of mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests in spring and summer, and in winter they burrow into the snow overnight, and near the snow caves, you can see the traces of wings and toes on the snow when taking off and landing, and the main predators are weasels and tigers.
