It's really hard for ordinary people like me to see too much difference between acting skills when watching movies (unless it's exaggerated to the point of being fake when you watch them)

Some people are in order to get ahead and return to their hometown to have face; some people are to be stars; some people are muddy, and a day is a day; the male protagonist Wan Guopeng is to pursue his dreams and not leave regrets for himself...
There are too many answers, each one is different, but what touched me the most was Qin Peijun's words, which probably means that seeing the sun is already his greatest success.
Qin Peijun, who has experienced the coal mine collapse, has a different definition of survival, dream chasing, and "horizontal drifting", and also allows many of his behaviors in this film to be explained: Why is there no heart to take care of everyone? Even if Wang Zhao is lazy and slippery, he still finds an opportunity to let him show his face? Because he understands his shortcomings, he understands that as long as he can see the sun, it is the happiest thing, and since he can't do it, why not give others a chance?
The role of Qin Peijun is inadvertent at first glance, but it runs through the entire film. Vulgar as I am, the first half always thinks that his kindness is accompanied by careful thinking, and the back will be reversed and blackened, but when I see this scene, I feel the charm of this character, my own ideas are dirty, staining Qin Peijun, and polluting this person who takes survival seriously.
