However, Takenaka Hanbei is not the official name of this person, his official name is Shigeharu Takenaka (shigeki). In addition to "Miao zi + real name or legal number", another short form of the name of the Japanese Sengoku samurai is "Miao zi + common name or official position".
For example, Otani Yoshiji's official position is from the five lower punishment department Shaosuke, so Otani Yoshiji is also known as the "Otani Punishment Department"; Ishida Sansei's official position is from the five lower division shōsuke, so Ishida Sansei is also called "Ishida Shibu". However, not every samurai can have an official position, and most samurai still use the simple name of "Miao zi + common name", such as Kinoshita (Miao character) Fujiyoshiro (common name).
Takenaka Shigeharu's full name is "Takenaka (Miaozi) Hanbei (common name) Shigeji (real name)", takeaka Shigeharu's surname and surname are disputed, and the mainstream theory is that the Hirashi Yoshibun stream Yangtze River clan. The most commonly used abbreviation name during Takenaka's lifetime was "Takenaka Hanbei", but "Takenaka Shigeharu" was not well known.
