The area under the jurisdiction of Fengming Xincun Community in Lu Street is relatively wide, north to Zhongshan West Road, south to Shanghai-Nanjing Railway Line, west to Huangshan South Road, east to the canal, bounded by Jiankang Road and Pearl Bridge, there are 6 residential communities, namely Fengming New Village Community, Dongyue Lane No. 14, 16, 18 Compound, Majiashan, Sanguantang, Yishi Road, with a registered population of about 5,000 people and a total number of about 2,000 households. It is an urban community with a relatively dense population in the city. There are 7 party branches under the community party committee, including 4 courtyard party branches and 3 non-public enterprises, with a total of 350 party members.
The "Courtyard Council" was established in 2012 and is divided into four courtyards according to the location of the community. The brand has enabled the Fengming New Village community to form a grid pattern with the community party organization as the core, the courtyard party branch as the foundation, and the building chief as the main body. Ding Guihong, female, born in 1944, member of the three branches of the courtyard.
