Xiao Zhaowen (480–494), courtesy name Jishang, was a native of Lanling, Donghai (present-day Linyi, Shandong). The fourth emperor of the Southern Dynasty Qi (reigned July 25– October 10, 494), the grandson of Emperor Xiao Zhao of Qiwu, the second son of Xiao Changmao the Prince of Wenhui, the half-brother of Xiao Zhaoye the Prince of Yulin, and the mother of Xu Gongren.

Emperor Wu of Qi ascended the throne, and as an imperial grandson, he was given the title of Duke of Linru and appointed as the Taishou of Jiyang, moving to southern Yu Prefecture. Xiao Zhaoye ascended the throne, conferred the title of General of the Chinese Army, The Assassin of Yangzhou, and was crowned the King of Xin'an County. In the first year of Longchang (494), under the arrangement of Xiao Luan, the Marquis of Xichang, he was proclaimed emperor and had the era name Yanxing. The power of the imperial government was completely in the hands of Xiao Luan, and he was deposed as the king of Hailing County.

In November of the first year of Yanxing, he was killed at the age of fifteen, and his nickname was Gong.
