Tang Zhongzhong was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1995, a first-class professor of Chang'an University, a doctoral supervisor, a mineral exploration expert, and a mineral deposit geologist. Long-term engaged in mineral exploration and geological and mineral research, is one of the pioneers of China's nickel mining industry and gansu province's gold mining industry, including the exploration and breakthrough of the deep hidden ore body in the Jinchuan nickel ore area, making it the world's third largest nickel ore.
