Tang Zhongzhong was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1995, a first-class professor of Chang'an University, a doctoral supervisor, a mineral exploration expert, and a mineral deposit geologist. Long-term engaged in mineral exploration and geological and mineral research, is one of the pioneers of China's nickel mining industry and gansu province's gold mining industry, including the exploration and breakthrough of the deep hidden ore body in the Jinchuan nickel ore area, making it the world's third largest nickel ore. The study summarizes the pattern of Jinchuan deposit and the metallogenic law of nickel ore in China, and puts forward the theory of "small rock mass into large ore". The above work has ended the situation of lack of nickel and platinum in China, entered the ranks of the world's major nickel resource countries, and played an important role in mineral exploration and geological and mineral research.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > Li Peicheng is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering</h1>
Li Peicheng, elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2003, a first-class professor of Chang'an University, a doctoral supervisor, and a national outstanding scientific and technological worker, has long been engaged in teaching, scientific research and engineering practice such as farmland water conservancy, water resources and environment and land improvement. Groundbreaking work has been laid for the establishment of an engineering technology system for the development and utilization of groundwater in the agricultural field. Established the theory of "cut-off well method" for calculating seepage flow of drainage and irrigation well groups, solved major problems in the design of well groups; cooperated in the successful research and development of loess radiation wells, with a water output of 8-12 times larger than other local well types, promoted more than 10 provinces and cities, with huge benefits, and theoretically broke through the traditional understanding that "loess cannot become an aquifer", and won the National Science Conference Award; researched light wells, won the national invention of fourth-class wells; presided over the compilation of China's first "Groundwater Utilization" unified textbook. Prospectively put forward the theory of "three waters unified management" and corresponding technical methods, which are used to prevent and control salinity disasters and expand irrigation water sources, with remarkable results. Pioneering to promote agricultural development and ecological environment construction in arid areas. Peng Jianbing, elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019, a first-class professor and doctoral supervisor of Chang'an University, has been committed to the scientific problem of large deformation of loose layers, and has carried out research work around ground cracks, loess landslides, regional stability, etc. It reveals the dynamic mechanism of deformation and rupture of loose sedimentary layers in the basin, and puts forward a new view on the causes of geological cracks; reveals the mechanical mechanism of deformation and slip movement of loess accumulation layers, and innovates the theory of the causes of loess landslides; breaks through the series of problems of soil cracks and loess landslide prevention and control, and makes important contributions to national disaster reduction and disaster prevention; innovatively proposes the theory and method system of regional stability dynamics, and solves a series of major engineering geological problems of large-scale hydropower projects such as Jishi Gorge, Black Mountain Gorge and Heihe River in the upper reaches of the Yellow River. Zhang Bosheng (1903-1994), member of the Faculty of Geology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (academician), late professor of Chang'an University, famous geologist, one of the five major tectonic schools in China's geological circles - the founder of the crustal wavy mosaic tectonic theory. From a geological point of view, an important philosophical inference is confirmed: the world is material, matter is in motion, and the form of motion is wavy.

Xu Guanhua, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Adjunct Professor of Chang'an University, Alumnus, Resource Remote Sensor, Former Minister of Science and Technology. In 1991, he was elected as a member (academician) of the Faculty of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In terms of satellite digital image processing research, the theory and technology of boundary decision-making, training plot analysis, image classification, spot synthesis, biomass estimation and other theories and technologies have been developed, the earliest digital image processing system for remote sensing satellites in China has been successfully developed, the theory and method of remote sensing comprehensive survey and series of mapping have been developed, the first comprehensive remote sensing survey of renewable resources and a series of technical specifications for cartography have been compiled, and the "Three Norths" have pioneering and creative leadership in classification systems, cartographic scales, technical processes, and types of thematic maps. Zhou Xuhong, in 2011, was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a foreign academician of the Japanese Academy of Engineering, a doctoral supervisor of Chang'an University, one of the discipline leaders in the field of architectural structural engineering in China, and the former president of Chang'an University. He has long been engaged in scientific research and teaching in the direction of steel structure and steel-concrete composite structure in structural engineering disciplines, and has achieved innovative results in theoretical research, engineering application and industrialization development of steel structure, composite structure and new structural system. The half-energy method is used to solve the bearing capacity problem of buckling and buckling of thin plates and plate groups, and the effective width design method of crimped plates considering the influence of plate group effect is proposed, and the design theory and design method of cold-formed steel components, plates, walls and roofs are improved.
