In the 1980s, one of the classic models of tamiya, the Grasshopper (Grasshopper, commonly known as Grasshopper for fans in Guangdong and Hong Kong and Macao, China), recently announced the launch of a replica of the 2005 Candy Green model, a limited edition product. The Grasshopper is probably the best-selling model in Tamiya's history, most recently in 2012. The new replica Grasshopper 2005 Candy Green uses a classic green finish, the shell is made of ABS material (hard shell, screwed to the chassis), factory paint finished, 2wd rear wheel drive, rear straight axle design, sealed gear differential wavebox, 380 motor (can support 540) is configured to continue to be used. In November 2018, Tamiya Tamiya Model launched the Comic Grasshopper, a miniature version of Grasshopper, full of cute style, chassis using a mature and stable WR-02CB off-road chassis. Tamiya expanded the legendary image of Grashopper to different proportions of remote control cars, allowing Grashoper to continue.
