In January 2017, we ran into the mountains 40 kilometers away from Chengdu.
Found a homestay with a hanging glass house,

Love room deep in the mountains
At the beginning of 2017, a slender red house appeared in Qiyun Mountain, Anhui Province, with only one room, and the circle of friends was just opened.
The house is red in color, unconventional, the whole building is a combination of geometry and lines, and the details are full of ambiguity: translucent rooms, mirrored ceilings, open-air baths...
The room is not large, only 50 square meters, but the architect designed 5 tree holes in it, staggered throughout the room, lying on the bed and turning around, you can see the pine trees growing from the tree holes. Lovers spend the world of two people here, with interest and mood.

A B&B with 10 mountain views
From Hangzhou, along the Fuchun River to the west, you can reach Tonglu. This is a small village surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the Yuan Dynasty painter Huang Gongwang's "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" painted here.
Architect Guo Shaoxun, together with his two friends, changed the village house into a homestay "not too late". The 10 rooms vary in design, with 10 different mountain views, infinity pools and cafes, although looking at the same mountain.
In the middle of summer, the average temperature in the mountains is only more than 20 degrees, which is the highest value of last year's summer hut. In winter, families can soak together in the hot spring baths.

Shengkeng Village, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, lives a family of water and grass.
When Shuicao was 35 years old, despite his parents' objections, he married Hui Ge, who returned from abroad at the age of 34, and later they had a son. Because they did not want to live a life of gathering less and leaving more, they simply sold two apartments in Hangzhou, moved to a deserted village in Taizhou, Zhejiang, built their own home, and operated a homestay to support themselves.
Shengkeng Village is a famous longevity village, and there are more than two dozen stone houses, and the Water Grass family has converted one of them into a homestay. There were 8 rooms open to the public, leaving one for myself.
Guests who come to Caosu like to stay at home, listen to music and read in the room, or sit on the large terrace in a daze. Once there was a guest who came to the grass to stay in the grass for a good night's sleep.

In the mountains, 40 kilometers from Chengdu, there is a glass house hidden deep in the dense forest. This place was previously closed to visit, which is mysterious to ordinary people. After it was changed to a hotel in 2015 and opened to the public, it suddenly became a fire, and in the summer, it was basically 2 months in advance to book a room.
The most powerful thing here is a 17-meter-long, 6-storey tea room, two-thirds of which is wooden flooring, and the top is transparent glass, and people who are afraid of heights probably have to climb through! The activity arranged by the boss for the guests was actually to practice martial arts in the glass tea room and eat hot pot on the glass roof. There is also one of the world's largest movie projector museums, where you can watch old movies with old projectors.

The pigsty was converted into a beautiful homestay
Qingcheng Mountain is the back garden of Chengdu, only an hour and a half drive from downtown Chengdu.
At the top of the mountain at an altitude of about 1100 meters, two polytechnic men found an old yard that is more than 200 years old. There are three families living in it, one in the main courtyard, one in a dangerous house, and one even in a shantytown converted from pigsty!
After the renovation of the two boys, the bucket arch structure of the traditional Chuanxi folk house was preserved. The house, which was originally a pigsty, was converted into a concrete industrial-style restaurant. At night, it becomes the only whisky in Mount Qingcheng. There is also an open-air cinema on the top floor where you can watch old movies.

An American converted an ancient opera stage into a homestay
Shaxi Ancient Town, located between Dali and Lijiang, is famous for its ancient temples and ancient opera stages. The American Bo Kun converted an ancient opera stage here into a homestay.
In 2011, Bo Kun took his wife on a trip to a small Bai village in Shaxi, begging for a child in a dilapidated ancient temple, but she did not expect that after returning, her wife was pregnant. In order to repay the wish, the two returned here again, repaired the ancient temple, and opened a homestay.
The homestay has 5 rooms and 1 ancient opera stage. The ancient opera stage is still in use today, and there is a Dongjing Ancient Orchestra in the village, composed of 8 Bai elders with an average age of 70 years old, who will be invited by Bokun to perform regularly. BoKun also opened a vegetarian restaurant in the ancient temple, which is open to guests staying in the hotel.

A family of seven, bought 40,000 square meters of mountains as a homestay
Shoufeng Township in Hualien County, eastern Taiwan, backed by the Coast Mountains and facing the Huadong Longitudinal Valley, is home to a magical family. A family of seven, a total of three generations, they bought 40,000 square meters of primitive forest hills, built a cottage, extra rooms, and made a homestay.
The helper has three horses, which are ridden in turn every day, and he also takes guests to the horseback riding experience, as well as special lessons. Help the host's wife grow coffee, plant more than 30 kinds of fruits, and prepare a sumptuous afternoon tea for guests every day. There is also a light aircraft airport nearby, where you can see the Pacific Ocean from above.

Five generations of TCM families opened a homestay in the mountains
Nuodeng Village, Yunnan, is famous for its ham. A family of five generations of Chinese medicine has opened a homestay here, called "Big Green Tree". There is a boudoir completely decorated according to Bai customs, and the shelf bed is more than 100 years old.
The 85-year-old grandfather will treat 10 guests every day, and dad insists on going to the primeval forest to collect medicine for 35 years, using freshly picked medicinal materials to make medicinal tea and soak feet for guests. Mom picked the vegetables from the field and fried them for the guests to eat. My daughter's best dish is fried ham with green pepper, good Norden ham, accompanied by fresh vegetables, and I refuse to put it down after slapping.

The Echo Valley Forest Homestay operated by Taiwanese boy Ah Cheng is the most popular homestay in Hualien, and it cannot be booked without 2 months in advance.
Surrounded by three mountains, the ecology is so good! Next to the house is a primeval forest with rhododendrons planted by Ah Cheng's parents, monkeys jumping around in trees, and Taiwan's unique Sven Hao lizard.
Echo Valley has only 5 rooms in total, the most popular of which is the glass hut where you can watch the meteor shower. Lying in the bedroom with floor-to-ceiling glass, you can feel the feeling of being surrounded by forest.
Ah Cheng is very obsessed with classic cars, bought 3 sets, no matter the wind and rain, he will drive the classic car to the train station to pick up guests, is the warmest homestay owner in Hualien.
