Barbed catfish , with a long, lateral flattened body and a slightly raised back. The head is small and slightly pointed, and the back of the head is curved. The kiss is blunt, protruding slightly forward. The mouth is subordinated and horseshoe-shaped. The lips are thick and the upper jaw is prominent. 2 pairs are required, and the front pair is slightly shorter than the back pair.
