South Korean boy band AB6IX member Lim Hyun Min permanently withdrew from the group due to drunk driving.
AB6IX's brokerage company announced yesterday that after Lin's drunk driving incident, the company had several discussions with him, and finally the company decided to respect Lin's own willingness to add trouble to the group and let him withdraw from the AB6IX combination. Lin Xuanmin himself also posted a handwritten letter on the Internet, publicly apologizing for the drunk driving incident, saying that his momentary confusion almost ruined the efforts of the other members of the group for the new album, for which he was very sorry and would continue to reflect on it in the future.
Lin Xuanmin was seized by the police when he drove back to his dormitory after drinking with a friend on the 31st of last month, when the alcohol content in Lin Xuanmin's body had reached the level of revoked driver's license. Because of Lin's drunk driving scandal, ab6IX's new album release date was postponed from the 8th of this month to the 29th of this month.
