On October 19, ESPN's well-known journalist Alison Williams recently said that she was fired for refusing to be vaccinated against the new crown virus, and next week will be the last day she will work here.

Williams has been with ESPN since March 2011. Last month, she tweeted a statement saying she refused to be vaccinated after consulting a doctor because she and her husband were trying to have a second child and that it was "not in my best interests" to be vaccinated.
