In 2017, he officially became a member of the banana entertainment trainee group Trainee18, and launched the trainee graduation single "ROCK THE SHOW" with TRAINEE 18. In 2018, he participated in the iQIYI idol boy band competition in the reality show "Idol Trainee", won the 5th place, and joined the male singing group NINE PERCENT, thus officially debuting; on August 24, he launched his personal Trap style single "YOU"; on November 20, he launched the group's first music album "To the Nines" with NINE PERCENT. Lin Yanjun was born in Haikou City, Hainan Province, his father is Taiwanese, his mother is Jiangxi, because of his parents' work, he lived and grew up in Different places such as Taiwan, Jiangxi, Guangdong and received education, and passed the Joint Entrance Examination for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Students to enter Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. In 2016, Lin Yanjun signed a contract with a Taiwanese brokerage company because he did not receive the training promised when he signed the contract, and together with other members, he held a press conference at the company's door to complain.
