The 2021 Taihu Lake Culture and Art Season will continue to uphold the purpose of "a grand event for art exchanges and a festival for the masses of the people", and carry out activities around "introducing elegant stage plays, supporting local art masterpieces, and displaying folk cultural collections". A total of 100 activities in the six major sections of high-quality stage repertoire, art works, cultural activities for the benefit of the people, dream art fair, social and cultural activities, and youth symphony exhibitions will set off a literary and artistic boom in Xicheng.

Fine stage repertoire
Wuxi has dramas, good dramas, and art season activities have been held for many years, introducing many high-level and high-level literary and artistic performances, more and more citizens have been intoxicated and cultivated in wonderful works, and have found hobbies and even dreams in wonderful interpretations, which has also made the foundation of elegant art more and more solid in the land of Wuxi.
This year's Taihu Lake Culture and Art Season strives for high quality, high taste and high style in the repertoire. As the opening performance, the famous violinist Lu Siqing, the tenor xue Haoyan and the soprano singer Zhao Lili will join hands with the 100-member Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of the famous conductor Yang Yang, to bring the audience "Golden Hearth", "The Sun Shines on Tashkurgan", "My Affection Waits for You", and Russian composer Mski Korsakov's symphonic suite "Heaven and Night".
The closing ceremony was the best-selling IP stage play "Two Beijing Fifteen Days", based on Ma Boyong's novel of the same name, with ups and downs in the plot and gripping plot. The popular drama "Only This Green" was revived on the stage of "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains", which was sold in a second, interpreting the aesthetics of the Great Song Dynasty, connecting the thousand years of stillness and movement, opening an immersive "painting appreciation" experience for the audience, and wandering in the meaning of traditional Chinese aesthetics. "Every frame is like an ancient painting, and every scene has a strong Chinese flavor." This is the first feeling that many people have after watching the dance poetry drama "Only This Green".
In order to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Party, this year's art season also introduced a number of themed works, and the drama "The Right Way in the World is Vicissitudes" based on the TV series of the same name released in 2008 is one of the masterpieces. The drama takes the life of the three brothers and sisters of the Yang family from 1925 to 1949 as the main line, and concentrates on the magnificent picture of the historical period from the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation to the founding of New China. Famous actors Wang Jinsong and Yu Dongjiang will perform at Wuxi Station, allowing you to feel the line skills and emotional tension of the old drama bones at close range.
The large-scale realist drama "The World of Man", based on the Liang Xiaosheng Mao Dun Literature Award's tome of the same name, puts the perspective on a more recent era. The story continues from the early 1970s to today's reform and opening up, the time span is as long as nearly 50 years, from the story of the fathers to the current China, it is very suitable for young audiences and parents to enter the theater to enjoy together.
The revolutionary modern Peking Opera "Wise Tiger Mountain" performed by the Shanghai Peking Opera House is the second appearance on the Wuxi stage after several years of violation of the Shanghai Peking Opera House. The work is magnificent and spectacular, with both revolutionary heroism and romanticism, and has been performed often over time. The music in the play is extremely artistically appealing, and the singing section is very popular among the people. For xicheng opera fans, especially Peking opera fans, it is a good play not to be missed.
In addition, this year's art season also introduced a number of highly artistic works. Among them, it is the first to promote the large-scale contemporary acrobatic drama "Hua Butterfly" brought by the Zhouzhou Acrobatic Art Theater, which takes the poignant and romantic classic love of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai as the story baseline, especially the ballet on the shoulder has a great visual impact. At present, the show has launched a global tour that includes five European countries.
The "Tibet Tianlai Yangjima Natural Sound Concert" will bring a unique appreciation experience. As the seventh generation of the Monpa Old Tune, YangJima, who was born in Nyingchi Metuo County, Tibet, will sing works such as "Pray for Eternal Beauty", "Empty Dense Forest", "Song of Sorrow" and other works through a unique singing voice, through lyricless chanting and improvisational chanting. In Yangima's singing, we may be able to find the silence that we have not seen for a long time.
The same goes for Zhao Peng. "The bass is his exclusive, the chant is his way." Bass Zhao Peng's "Forgotten Time" music will make you feel the charm of bass.

This year's art season will also have 11 performances gathered in the Dream Art Fair, showing the strength and style of the Xicheng folk art group. Dream Art Fair aims to provide a stage for Wuxi's local social art performance institutions, folk art teams and Wuxi artistic talents to exchange and exchange, and this year's performances include music, drama, music art, recitation, etc., so that more people have the opportunity to share the fruits and joy of literary and artistic development.

Xicheng public cultural venues will hold a number of youth art exhibitions, and private venues have also taken out their collections to hold high-quality art exhibitions. Su Jia Art Museum launched the "Mud Pulse Inheritance" Huishan Clay Man Fine Art Exhibition; Tianshengda Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum took out more than 180 pieces of Liuqing bamboo carving works by Xu Yan, the representative inheritor of The Intangible Cultural Heritage wuxi liuqing bamboo carving in Jiangsu Province, including a number of new creations celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party; Phoenix Art Capital, Dahongmen, Dongfang, Xinli and other venues also launched a variety of styles and rich content during the art season. Youth Symphony Performance
