Welcome to: The Self-Talking President
The most serious nonsense on the whole network

Today we're going to talk about an experiment, the Mouse Utopia Experiment.
When I first heard about this experiment, I was still studying biology in college. At that time, I was dealing with the foul-smelling rat nest, and the student sister said next to me, I want to repeat the experiment of the rat utopia, which is said to predict the end of human society...
After listening to this experiment, I didn't eat for several days. Really, I'm still wondering if this is really the end of humanity, and today I'm sharing this story with you to see what you think.
< h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > universe 25</h1>
On July 9, 1968, universe 25 was born in a laboratory in the state of Southern Mari, USA.
A man named John Calhoun became the Creator of this universe.
He placed 4 male rats and 4 female rats into Universe 25. There is food and water that rats can never eat, and the experimenters will always protect the rats from all external injuries, such as disease, climate, traps, and so on.
This Universe 25 is the rat utopia.
However, the only drawback of this utopia is that space is limited. It can only accommodate up to 3840 rats.
Universe 25 is a square box with four walls 1 meter 3 (1.37 meters) high and the bottom side of the box 2 meters 6 (2.57 meters) wide, with tunnels and rooms in the walls for rats to move and live. Each room can comfortably accommodate 15 rats.
It is such a happy rat country, the original 8 mice must think that they are the luckiest rats in the world, no natural enemies, no disasters, unlimited food supply, comfortable and peaceful environment.
The experiment began, but no one could have imagined that within a few years, all 8 rats and their offspring would die, and none of them survived. During this period, the environment and resources of the No. 25 universe have never changed, humans have created utopias for rats, but rats themselves have turned utopias into hell, and the process of rats perishing in hell is shocking...
Before we start this shocking story, let's talk about the Creator of Universe 25 and see why he designed this experiment.
<h1 class= "pgc-h-arrow-right" > Creator</h1>
John Calhoun spent his childhood in Tennessee, chasing toads, catching birds, catching crabs, raising bugs, from the Herb Garden to the Sanwei Bookstore, and his first childhood hobby eventually earned him two things:
1. Doctorate in Biology;
2. Curiosity about God.
(I'm also like him, why didn't I get the first thing)
After entering society at the age of 26, he worked in the Maryland government, where he studied the habits of the Norwegian rat, which was the number one pest in Maryland at the time.
At the age of 30, Calhoun built a 1.5-acre "Rat City" behind his house, which he expected to hold up to 5,000 rats, but in two years, he found that the number of rats never exceeded 150.
Whenever the number of rats is about to exceed 150, there will be an invisible pressure formed, just like a hand of god, although it cannot be seen, but the rats show that the existence of this hand is really reflected, and the rats begin to become reluctant to reproduce. Behaving strangely, they spend a lot of time rolling dirt into balls, instead of digging tunnels and building homes, they no longer cooperate, but tear and fight until the population drops sharply, everything returns to normal, and the hand seems to be gone. Let's call this invisible hand "the hand of God."
This phenomenon fascinated Calhun, the Hand of God seemed to control the collective mind of rats, and the mechanism that triggered the Hand of God seemed to be population size and density. Karlhon then built one larger and more complete "rat city" after another, and he still observed the existence of the hand of God. Calhoun believes that the hand of God may be a pressure from the external environment. If there had been a utopian perfect external environment, would the Hand of God become gentler, or even disappear?
This idea also had great research significance for the rapidly developing human cities at that time, because humans and mice were social animals, and in the 1940s, after World War II, human beings were rapidly urbanizing. The study of the hand of God in the "City of Mice" is particularly valuable. As a result, the National Institute of Mental Health began to strongly support Calhoun's research.
By the time Calhoun was 37 years old, in 1954, his "City of Rats" became more and more advanced, becoming a "Rat Paradise", with better facilities, climbable walls, funnels that could provide food for many rats at the same time, and walk-in studios, etc. These "Rat Paradises" are simply a replica of the human city, everyone does not disturb each other, resources are sufficient, polite, entertainment is sound, living conditions are comfortable...
But, despite this, in the end, the hand of God appeared every time, and the same problem inevitably arose in every heaven, and over the course of more than 20 years of research, Calhon began to freak out, writing in his thesis: "The behavioral consequences of rising population density are inevitable."
He went from being a rational biologist to becoming more and more nervous, and then, in 1968, the story also came to the most perfect "rat city" designed by Calhun, the 25th universe. This time Kalhun vowed to crack the secret of God's hand from a rational point of view.
<h1 class= "pgc-h-arrow-right" > rat utopia</h1>
On July 9, 1968, the first 8 rats moved into Utopia, and by late October, the first baby rats were born. Since then, the number of rats has doubled every two months, 20, 40, 80 ... Babies grew up with their own babies, and the family gradually became a dynastic era. This was the golden age of rat utopia.
By August 1969, the total population of Utopia had reached 620. Then, like every collapsing "rat paradise," things are changing in utopia, and while all resources are in supply, and even the full capacity of 3,840 rats is not yet 1/5 full, the explosion of population density growth has brought the hand of God down.
As the new generation of adults, many rats cannot find a mate and cannot find their place in society, and the older generation of rats who already have a spouse and a family still control the rat society.
Females who cannot find a partner in the new generation move to higher uninhabited apartments, and they live alone, away from family, society and even from neighbors.
Males of the Cenozoic generation who could not find a partner gathered in the center of the universe, where they gathered food and water, food and clothing, many friends, and entertainment, but they still appeared irritable, anxious, and weak, and then they began to attack each other.
At the same time, the older generation with spouses and social status continues to multiply and expand the power of the family, but they also behave strangely: they are constantly moving their nests to avoid neighbors they consider unfriendly. They kick babies out of their nests prematurely, making them the new generation at the center of the universe or the highest part of the universe.
< h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > Cenozoic</h1>
Next, population growth slowed. In a perfect utopia, the fear of society by the new generation of rats exceeds even the expectations of all previous "rat paradises".
They spend all their time eating, sleeping, and grooming, and they stop fighting and courtship mating. The rats had changed completely, and As Calhoun tried to change them and move them to a normal rat population, they were overwhelmed as if they had forgotten their instincts.
Originally, in the former "Rat City", these new generations that forgot their instincts would slowly decrease, and eventually, when the number of rats dropped to a certain amount, the hand of God would leave, and the new generation would re-integrate into the rat society, but in the perfect Universe 25, Utopia, the situation was different.
The new generation has been living outside the rat society, the size of the entire rat group is getting bigger and bigger, the size of the entire rat group reaches 2,000 at its peak, after that, slowly all the rats become the new generation, the new generation behaves strangely, unwilling to reproduce, and then, the rat society completely collapses.
By May 1970, rat utopia had been in motion for less than two years, the last baby in Universe 25 was born, and no females had any offspring ever since. One day in 1973, the last inhabitant of Universe 25, Utopia, died. Rat utopia came to an end.
Rat Utopia perished faster than the rat paradise and rat city that had once been: it took less than 5 years.
The behavior of the new generation caused Calhon to collapse completely. He called it the sinking of behavior.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > behavior sinks</h1>
It mainly includes the following and is divided into two stages:
At the time when the Hand of God has just come:
1, the mouse family expelled the cub from the house before it was weaned;
2, young mice attack each other;
3, increased same-sex behavior in young mice;
4, males in normal society are unable to protect females within their territory;
5, females begin to become aggressive;
6, the young rats began to relent the attack and no longer resisted;
Then, in the process of continuing to strangle the rat utopia, the Hand of God sank with the following acts:
7, females refuse to reproduce;
8, the male completely withdraws, never fights or courtship;
9, males eat, sleep, dress up alone, and pursue loneliness;
10, these males have smooth fur and no scars, and Karl hun calls them beautiful people who have come with the end of the world.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > the creator of the collapse</h1>
These 10 acts of destruction completely destroyed Calhun's spiritual world.
When he wrote about 20 years of research in 1973, he devoted about 1/5 of the beginning of the paper to the book of Revelation, and emphasized the content of the book of Revelation in prominent italics: to kill with the sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts
After Calhon's paper was published, it annoyed both scientists and theologians.
Scientists considerEd to be a disgrace to Calhoun's endorsement of scientific papers in the Book of Revelation, thereby excluding more than 20 years of research from mainstream science.
Theologians believe that your use of animal actions to predict the end of man is simply the greatest insult to God, worse than Darwin, and that man cannot be compared with animals, and that man is God's most perfect creation.
After 1973, there was no more Universe 26.
Rat utopias have also become a banned experiment.
Well, this is the rat utopia experiment that Xuejie told me about that year, that year, there was no flow of fresh meat in society, there was no three and a big god, and Heisei waste wood seemed to be far away from us. However, it has only been more than a decade.
Then, my sister told me an urban legend.
< h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > conspiracy theories</h1>
Travel back in time to 1995, the Fairmont Grand Hotel in San Francisco.
Brzezinski, then U.S. national security adviser, proposed the "Pacifier Music" program at the congress. The 500 human elites present at the meeting unanimously passed. These human elites include former Soviet leader Gorbachev, U.S. President George W. Bush, Margaret Thatcher, Soros, Bill Gates, and other top figures in politics, finance, technology, education, and so on.
This is a closed-door meeting that will determine the fate of mankind.
The elites at that time worried that in the coming globalization and urbanization, human society would inevitably fall into the principle of two-eight, 20% of the elite would control 80% of the resources, 80% of the population will become the so-called "garbage population", this phenomenon does not actually make the elites feel worried, what really worries them is whether if the 80% of the population realizes their predicament, whether they will rebel and thus destroy the elite's utopia.
The meeting lasted for three days, until Brzezinski said coldly, stuffing the 80% of the people with "pacifiers" in their mouths, and giving them a lot of entertainment stimulation, video programs, video games, useless goods, dog blood gossip, etc., in short, using meaningless content to stimulate their various senses to immerse themselves in it, not thinking, and becoming a domestic animal raised by the elite.
Destroy them with their love, give them pacifiers + entertainment, Brzezinski's brilliant plan has since been called "pacifier music" and then carried out by the global elite for more than 30 years.
The closed-door meeting was recorded by two ill-appointed German journalists in the book The Globalization Trap, which was published in 1996, but we can no longer find any evidence that the meeting was ever held, apart from a single record in the book. So, for 30 years, fairmont meetings could only spread like ghosts on the Internet as conspiracy theories.
However, in real life, we can still observe a lot of "pacifier music", and these pacifier music phenomena are somewhat similar to the "behavior sinking" in mouse utopia.
For example, Japan's low-desire society, with its low fertility rate, is very similar to the situation in which the new generation cannot integrate into society. For example, the artificial idols in the exquisite assembly line product design department that appear in the media now are very much like the "beautiful people" who appear together with the end of the world in the rat utopia.
In the rat utopia, it took about 180 days and 3 generations from the appearance of the "beautiful man" to the birth of the last baby. The 3 generations of human beings are about 75 years.
Hopefully, that's not the case.
Finally, I would like to share with you another famous experiment.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > controversial marshmallow experiment</h1>
Fast forward to 1970, the same year that the last baby was born in Universe 25, Dr. Stanford, named Walter Michelle, was telling the 32 kids in the lab that there was a marshmallow on the table and you could choose to eat it, or you could wait patiently for 15 minutes, and I would bring you back another gift of your favorite food when I returned to the lab.
The children said what they hoped to get, and then sat alone in the laboratory, looking at the marshmallow, the experimental results showed that only 1/3 of the children resisted the temptation of marshmallow, restrained their desires in 15 minutes of loneliness, and did not choose to eat marshmallows. When their temptations are at their most intolerable, some people cover their eyes with their hands, some turn their backs, some try to fall asleep, some people tell stories to marshmallows, in short, they overcome the temptation of marshmallows with different personalities and get extra rewards.
The experiment is not over, 20 years later, 1990, the original 32 children aged 3 and a half to 5 and a half years old have also grown up, the experimenters have investigated their situation and found that those who did not eat marshmallows at the beginning, in the learning to get better results, in the society also achieved a higher status, but those who ate marshmallows, are more irritable, more evasive of society, more accept the arrangement of fate.
This marshmallow experiment is one of the most famous experiments in social psychology, and Michelle seems to be using this experiment to tell us that humans are different from mice, and that there are always personalities among us who can make us calmer, more rational, more resistant to temptation, and more aware of the meaning of delayed gratification.
These personalities in humans are not possessed by rats, and they are the real reasons why we can escape the fate of Universe 25. You do this
In fact, this is also a "pacifier music" cool article, everyone looks at it and smiles.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right">THE END</h1>
