Why do prisoners, especially women, commit crimes? What crime was committed? How did they spend their time in prison? Many people are very curious, private message I write some articles in this regard. The articles I write about prisons are not curiosities, let alone sensationalism, but realistically showing the current situation of prisons, reminding readers to abide by discipline and the law, and not to commit crimes.
Someone asked me why I should pay attention to the group of prisoners, they are criminals, they deserve to be punished, the stricter the management, the better, the heavier the labor task, the better. In fact, prisoners are first and foremost human beings, deprivation of personal freedom has been punished, and the purpose of reform is to make them legitimate citizens, not to make them resentful, so as to hate society and retaliate against society. A famous person said it well, the degree of civilization of a society, prison is the most intuitive embodiment.
The prison management system is basically the same, but the provinces and cities vary greatly, the management is strict and loose, the food is good and bad, the hardware is not the same, and the hardware of the women's prison and the men's prison is exactly the same. The difference was that at that time, male prisoners were not allowed to have hot water bottles, while female prisoners could have one, and later, after the installation of boiling water boilers on each floor, female prisoners could not use warm water bottles.
§1 Xiaomei's story
Female prisoners love to write letters and like to make pen pals. Xiaomei is my pen pal.
When I received Xiaomei's first letter, I felt very curious. How does she know my mailing address? What kind of girl is this? In the first letter, she said that she liked my articles and hoped that I could guide her in writing and let her get more points. Out of courtesy, I quickly wrote back and talked a little about my writing experience. Since then, she has basically received a letter from Xiaomei every week, and slowly learned about her situation.
Xiaomei is a native of Ningbo and has been sentenced to 9 years in prison for drug trafficking. In her own words, she is a typical little sister, the family conditions are good, there are several little sisters around her, playing around crazy, slowly playing wild, falling in love with methamphetamine. Drug addicts have a characteristic, do not sleep at night and sleep during the day, life is reversed. When her parents found out, they locked her up at home, and when something happened, her home became the base camp for their gang to take drugs and hide drugs. The parents are busy with business, and through monitoring, they know that their daughter did not go out to think that her daughter has changed from evil, in fact, his parents do not know that methamphetamine is a drug. Later, the police found more than 300 grams of methamphetamine from her home, and she had given the money to her little sister to absorb, so something happened.
The year I met her, Xiaomei was 23 years old, looking at her photos, not pretty, but young. She wouldn't be able to get out of prison until she was 27.
I asked her, is it a drug addiction?
She wrote back: there is no addiction, it does not matter if you do not smoke, but it is difficult to ensure that you do not smoke after going out, because when you see others sucking, the addiction hidden in the depths of your heart will crawl out.
Xiaomei is the head of the labor team, and she said that she wanted to change the problem of good and bad work, so she was highly valued by the police officers. She said that it is still good to work, and after the new life, she must find a job and support her family through labor.
§2 Zhang Ran who fights in groups
I know Zhang Ran because she takes the lead in group fights. This is very rare in women's prisons. Here's the thing: Zhang Ran is very fat, even in prison, she can't lose weight, which makes Zhang Ran very distressed, and it has become her least touching scar.
A new criminal came to the cell, and Zhang Ran committed a crime: the crime of injury. Zhang Ran hurt his colleagues, and because of the long-standing conflict, he broke out and beat his colleagues into minor injuries; the new criminals who came hurt their neighbors, because the two families of the homestead were fighting. The new criminals may be arrogant and arrogant outside, and after entering prison, they do not know how to respect the old criminals, and they have ridiculed Zhang Ran's fatness several times. A few times ago, Zhang Ran endured, that time at dinner, the new criminal saw zhang Ran eat more, said a sentence "more than a pig will eat." Zhang Ran couldn't help it, and went up to an ear scraper. Because the police stopped it in time, the new criminals had to give up. At night, when the lights were about to go out, Zhang Ran sat on the bed, and the new criminal muttered: The fat pig is snoozing. Zhang Ran jumped out of bed, waved his hand and hit, the rest is not too big, from persuasion to pulling, forming an eight-on-four situation.
Fighting in groups is a big deal, and the two parties deduct three points and strictly manage them for three months. During the period of strict management, Zhang Ran appeared and came to the prison television station twice to record programs. She said that it is more difficult for women to go to jail than men, men can put down their faces without self-esteem, women can't, so when they encounter grievances or something at home, they will cry and weep. Moreover, the female policeman is not at all more relaxed than the male policeman, with a board and an eye, and there is no room for flexibility.
Later, we also sent several letters. She was no longer heard after she was resurrected.
§3 Jiang Hongxia, who loves to laugh
At the age of 18, Jiang Hongxia was sentenced to a suspended death sentence for causing death by negligence.
After the 2015 double review, Jiang Hongxia was a typical reform activist set up by the prison, and the prison tabloid and the xinsheng newspaper of the provincial bureau reported her deeds on a special page, and I participated as one of the contributors. At that time, Jiang Hongxia had served 11 years in prison, but she was optimistic. In 2011, she passed 59 self-study exams and was awarded the title of prison reform activist 10 times. With short jet-eared hair, handsome black-rimmed glasses, and a neat and clean dress, it's hard to imagine that this is a female prisoner who has spent more than a decade in prison. Having seen too many bitter melon faces and heard too many grievances and complaints, Jiang Hongxia's smiling face was like a small sun.
In the interview, there is a question like this: a woman's best youth spent in prison, have you ever complained?
Jiang Hongxia said: Of course, there are complaints. I used to wash my face with tears every day and complain to myself. Later, I figured it out, the miserable wind and rain is a day, and no heart and no lungs are also a day. Having figured it out, facing reality, approaching the new life day by day, shouldn't you laugh?
The power of a smile is enormous. It is like the wind, which can pass freely through the thorns. There are dark clouds, blowing away the dark clouds; there is dust, erasing the dust. It can soothe the scars and soothe the soul. Life sighs because of your sad face, and smiles like a flower because of your sunny face. Wang Zhen, Jiang Hongxia's accomplice, said, "Jiang Hongxia's entire reform process is zero complaints. ”
In fact, our entire life should also be zero complaints.
