Everyone is the same local child, there is not much pressure in life, staying in the city that has been accustomed to childhood, doing a leisure job that reassures the family. This job made me feel as if I would be trapped in a hospital compound for the rest of my life.
Although the work in the hospital is idle, it is necessary to arrive at 8 o'clock in the morning every day, and if you are late, you will deduct your salary. Since I started school, I have been a difficult person to get out of bed. Countless times I have fantasized about how nice it would be if I could wake up naturally until 10 o'clock every day.
The hospital organizes trips to Thailand, and the hospital's welfare is really good, at least once a year there is a chance to go out for group building.
After graduation, the students of the university went their separate ways, and usually did not have much contact. Because one of our college classmates got married, we got together again with our dorm friends. While everyone was dressed plainly, xiao Chen, my best friend in the college dormitory, was dressed in a famous brand. After asking, I learned that he was doing medical equipment sales in a Hong Kong-funded company.
When I was still earning less than five hundred a monthly salary, he said that his income was about five or six thousand to a month, and it did not include the bonus at the end of the year. I feel that this company is particularly atmospheric and special cattle.
They also put forward a job requirement, no matter where you go, you can't stay in a hotel below four stars, you have to maintain the image of the company, and you don't need a suit and shoes, but at least if you want brand clothing, which is also very attractive to me. You should know that at that time, everyone was still used to going to the hypermarket to look for goods in dress.

I discussed with my parents, I thought it would be difficult to convince them, but they just made me think about it for two or three days, and after making sure I really wanted to go, I agreed. Later, when talking about this matter, dad said that he did not want to have regrets in my life because of his intervention, and he was unwilling to carry such a psychological burden.
But he also made a request, let me go to the suspension of pay to stay in the post, pay 10,000 yuan to the hospital every year to retain the existing position, in case I don't break in after going out, I can still have regret medicine to eat. At that time, I was still very reluctant about this money.

In 2001, at the age of 24, I took a leave of absence and went to work at a medical device company. Together with the students, I am responsible for the business of the entire Zhejiang Province, and my daily work is to travel on business, to the hospitals in each county and city to do sales or equipment maintenance. The time was all arranged by myself, and I would always avoid the morning and meet with the hospital in the afternoon.

In fact, I regret it now, if I knew that I saved it and bought a few more apartments.
But good villains are rich, and if they have money, they have confidence. Every time you pinch a wallet, there is always a thick stack of money. From that time on, I felt that I was going well and would invest in something at the invitation of my friends. For example, open a mahjong hall café or something.
I invested $5 million with my friends just to fulfill a small dream of opening a café.
I am grateful that my twenties have followed my heart and that the change of career has proven to be a success. On the one hand, it is manifested in income, and on the other hand, it is manifested in feelings. My wife was my high school classmate, we started from early love all the way, when we were still in love, she studied interior design, but also a very free working state, every day to take orders to draw drawings, do not have to go to nine to five. So after I changed jobs, the pace of the two became more consistent.
In 1995, at the age of 18, I was at Suzhou Amusement Park with my wife, who was still my girlfriend at the time.
But this kind of life in a hotel and restaurant, after having a family, gradually lost its former attraction. Instead, I lost time with my family.
Our wedding was on a Saturday, I had a day off on Sunday, Another business trip on Monday, a wedding trip and nothing like that. This lack of family life became even more apparent after the birth of a son in 2009. My wife also started occasionally arguing with me because I was away from home for a long time.

With children, I was once tempted to travel, stay in hotels, and eat restaurants, but there was no temptation for me. I always miss the bed, the meal and the well-behaved and lovely son at home. The first three years of my child's life were the most varied, but I could only know from my wife's phone that my son would roll over, climb, and sit. Even the son's call to his father had to be heard over the phone.
Because he was often not at home, sometimes he came home with a body of wind and dust and wanted to hug his son, and he would scare him, because he didn't recognize me. This makes me a little confused, making money every day outside, what is it for?

In February 2012, because the mahjong hall I had invested in was very profitable, I stopped fighting as I used to, and after completing the required order quantity for work, I applied for a vacation for the first time.
I made an appointment with a friend and took my wife and children on a road trip to Thailand. This self-driving trip, one is to make up for not being with his wife for a long time. The other is to record this matter, and when you are old, you will brag to your son: "When dad was young, he drove you all the way from Hangzhou to Thailand. ”

That trip was also my first time to come to Thailand by car, our route was "Hangzhou - Kunming - Xishuangbanna Mohan Port - Laos - Thailand", my friends and I took turns to drive a commercial vehicle, the back seat space is very large, children can sleep as much as they want to stop. Although the journey is 10,000 kilometers back and forth, it is not hard.
As soon as I entered Thailand, I was quickly impressed by the Thai people, who could see the enthusiasm that was rare in the country. In the face of a foreigner who does not understand the language, he will not only answer enthusiastically when asking for directions, but also specially ride a motorcycle to lead me to the place, and then turn around.

At that time, Chiang Mai was not full of tourists, just a very small city. The smiles on people's faces and the decoration of the shops are like The China of the 80s and 90s makes me feel like I have returned to the summer vacation of my childhood, very relaxed and warm, and everyone is not impatient to run for life, but just loosely living their own lives. Thais don't seem to be in any hurry to make money. If a bun shop, they can always ask for only 50 buns to be sold every day. We're so used to catching up that we don't know how to slow down.

I commissioned a friend who often travels to Thailand for business to help me keep an eye on the cottages here. Originally just a casual mention, I did not expect that in June of the same year, he told me that it was good to find a few houses, was there any interest in going to see?
My wife and I discussed it and went to see it, just thinking that if there is a suitable one, I will buy a set and it will be convenient to go on vacation later. After arriving in Chiang Mai, the single-family villa that my friend fancyd had a total of 4 small villas, and there was a swimming pool in the middle, with a total price of 3.7 million, which was more than the 200,000 or 300,000 I expected at the time. But seeing that I really liked this house, my friend asked me if I wanted to rent it and open an inn? So we hit it off. Talked to the landlord about one payment a year, the rent was 120,000 yuan a year, during which he continued to find a buyer without delay, and the landlord felt that it was very cost-effective to sign the contract.

Later, after renovation, I bought a few beds and several air conditioners, with a total investment of 30,000 or 40,000 yuan, and the homestay opened in September. My friends and I took care of each other for a few months, because the rent was cheap and the domestic chess and card room was very profitable, and we didn't need to rely on the Thai homestay business to make money, so it was only as if it was its own resort.

Unexpectedly, more than a month after opening, the store came to the male protagonist Pchy in "Siamese Love", when Siamese love was on fire in The country. So I went to the Internet to search for his name and found that there were 600,000 followers, so I told him if I could send a message to our inn, and then we continued to eat and drink.

The next day, when I turned on my phone, I found that all the notifications were 99+, and the original dozen or so fans became more than 110,000 overnight. The rooms in the store are also quickly booked, and they cannot be booked if they are not two or three months in advance. Later, I also participated in a domestic TELEVISION program because of this explosion, talking about Chinese experience of opening an inn overseas.
With the exposure, the business is getting better and better, and we have opened a new store in the ancient city of Chiang Mai. As a result, this time it caught up with the release of "Tai Chi" at the end of 2012, and the Chiang Mai tourism market directly exploded.
At that time, chiang mai locals, there were a total of five homestays that could speak Chinese, and there were only two homestays opened by mainlanders, and I was one of them. At the best of our business, our homestay revenue reached half a million a year.

With the subsequent surge in the number of Chinese inns, they dispersed tourists and their revenues suffered. In 2017, my friend and I discussed the transfer of the inn.
Although the inn was closed, my family and I settled in Chiang Mai. After the inn exploded in 2012, my focus gradually began to shift, and the medical equipment was no longer as easy to do as it had been for a few years, and those who had attracted me as I grew older were no longer attractive.
In 2015, I officially resigned, relying on the proceeds of domestic investment to buy a small villa of 500,000 or 600,000 yuan in Thailand, and settled in Thailand. Life in Thailand, the overall cost is much lower than in the country, spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to live in villas, delicious food, happy people, comfortable climate. I'm in my forties and such a life is perfect for me.
My child also happened to reach the age of elementary school, and I had the same attitude as my parents at that time, not asking me to be ahead, only hoping that I could be happy and be an upright person.

At that time, the teacher assigned homework for parents and children to make handmade wind chimes together. He and Grandpa seriously made a very beautiful one. As a result, after getting it to the class, he found that many children bought it online, and the final winner was also a delicate and beautiful wind chime that he bought, so his son was very disappointed. In addition, I saw that many friends whose children had already gone to elementary school helped their children correct their homework every day, and became half a teacher after being busy. It made me think that something might be wrong with education here.
After going to school in Thailand, they have completely achieved quality education, and because of the funds, there is enough time to cultivate students' hands-on ability. In school, my son often does crafts, draws, and participates in school club activities. He also became very confident, and going to school every day was the most enjoyable thing for him.

As for the university, it depends on where he wants to go to school when the time comes, and I support which country he wants to go to.
In addition to making the children happier, my wife and I were finally able to get along day and night after more than a decade. When the shop is not busy, we often walk together in the streets of Chiang Mai, try the newly opened coffee shop, go to the beach to blow the breeze, relaxed and comfortable, and we are even always said to be getting more and more tired.

When the children have a long vacation, we will go back to China. I will also take my parents to live in Thailand for a month or two, and I have also tried to see if they want to move to Thailand to settle down, but because they are reluctant to live in Hangzhou, coupled with the language barrier, they can't wait to go back to China every time.
Maybe after the child goes out to college, I will go back to my parents, but until then, we will maintain this rhythm of life.

In 2018, Fa Xiao and I cooperated with Fa Xiao to do mobile business hall business in China, opening seven stores, often traveling between Hangzhou and Chiang Mai. After researching it, I started my daily routine on Douyin in March, such as which café to go to today for coffee, and where to play on the road tomorrow? Because of the epidemic, everyone is stuffed at home, there are many people who brush vibrato, plus my content is in Thailand, where they can't go for a while, so the number of clicks is very good. I felt it was a path and started doing it seriously. The first is to keep two to three changes a week. When the situation in Thailand improved, I went out on a trip and saved enough videos for 10 to 15 days. All that's left is to go home and edit and deal with copywriting, shooting, editing, dubbing. This time also has to be arranged by myself, otherwise it will be busy, thanks to my previous experience in doing medical equipment, I am a veteran.
I think it is the biggest difficulty in doing self-media, I often watch various contents on the Internet, not only watch videos, but also look at text and pictures. For example, when I saw the story of a diving instructor today, I wondered if I could do something about diving. In short, it is to always absorb new things, and you can't build a car behind closed doors at home. Carrying pressure to hold back is a good thing that people can't like.
