Warner Bros. and Rocksteady have introduced an update for batman: Arkham Knight Steam edition that removes the D encryption system on Steam while adding two free new skins to the game.

Considering that the GOG platform has already launched Batman: Arkham Knight without DRM, it is sooner or later that the Steam version of the game will remove the D encryption. It is worth mentioning that Warner Bros. removed the D encryption of the Epic version of the game in 2019.

Prior to this, Batman: Arkham Knight had some stuttering issues, and with the removal of D encryption, whether the new version is smoother has yet to be tested.

Released on June 23, 2015, Batman: Arkham Knight is the final chapter of Rocksteady's Batman Arkham trilogy and has received special praise from players.

Rocksteady is currently working on Suicide Squad: Kill justice league, in which players take on the role of suicide squad, the most dangerous villain in the DC Universe, and are forced to team up to accept a new mission: to defeat the Justice League.
